Mardi gras concert after the parade?

We'll be there the weekend of 3/9. I see that the Doobie brothers are performing on Satuday night. We are planning to watch the parade from the JAWS area. How long after the parade do the concerts start? Where are the concerts held? Whats our best strategy for getting from the parade to the concert? Thanks!!!!

the parade is in the boneyard. the concert begins as soon as the parade is over. as soon as the parade passes, the throng of people will be swarming to the concert. we watched the parade near mummy and couldnt get anywhere near the stage. there are video screens and you can hear the concert from anywhere. my advice is to either stake out a spot by the concert to watch the parade. or just plan on being pretty far away from the stage area.
