Mardi Gras at US/IOA

I was wondering if anyone could give me an overview of the Mardi Gras at US/IOA. We will be in Orlando 2/3-2/9, will proably spend a couple of days at Universal?

Mardi Gras is a concert series in the spring that will run from February 2 - Apirl 19, 2008. Universal is also decorated in a Mardi Gras theme along with a nightly parade. Check out the website for more info:

Note...the concerts on the website are from THIS year...not next year.

Unfortunately, the parade hasn't been "nightly" for a couple years now. For the past two or three years, it's only been on Saturday nights, followed by the concert. Any other day of the week (even Mardi Gras itself as far as I remember), you'll just see decorations and a couple empty food booths on a fake NY street rechristened the "French Quarter"--no parade.

Pat O'Briens has a branch in CityWalk that does a big party Mardi Gras night, if you're looking for something that Tuesday. Not kid-friendly, tho, 21 and up only.
