Mardi Gras at US 2007

Who went to Mardi Gras at Universal Studios in 2007 (I did - lots of fun and first time too)

Anyone going next year?

We went too Vicki - me, DH and our friends. We saw Huey Lewis & the News - they were great - and the parade was excellent. We got loads of beads

We're not going next year, though, as we won't be there until middle of April - I think it's finished by then.

Hi ya,

We went on the last night on Mardi Gras - Saw KC and Sunshine Band. Only our two eldest DDs came along . Youngest DD felt poorly so stayed at the villa with my mum .

DD1 was quite shocked at the lady standing next to her, she is a very polite 15 year old and the lady next to her was grabbing them out of her hand - she broke the skin too !

DD2 is more competitve and got way more beads than all of us put together.

Even my DH got into the swing of it and ended up wearing his collection much to my DDs surpirse . I wish I'd taken the camera.

Can you believe it we were over there, for our first florida holiday in 06 at the right time for Mardi Gras but missed it!!!!

I planned a 40th trip for my DH and it happens to be one of the Saturdays of Mardi Gras 08, so we will be practicing our catches so we can bring them home for the girls.
