Mardi GRAS at universal

Hi all
Just realised I will be there when this is on. I understand I can get in on my normal universal ticket but can anyone tell me about Mardi gras?
I have never been and have no idea what goes on and what to expect.

For the most part, you won't notice much. Some decorations and characters in Mardi Gras costumes. It's only in Universal Studios, not in Islands of Adventure.

On the Mardi Gras event nights, there's a parade with LOTS of beads and a concert. It'll be crowded when these events are on. Some of the City Walk restaurants, bars and clubs run special events too.

It's fun!

Also saw Chicago who were rubbish, could have seen Flo rida but didn't know much about him back then, now had a few hits.
