Mardi Gras at Disneyland

I know Pleasure Island has some events planned for Mardi Gras, but will there be anything like this at Disneyland or DTD? Just curious!

kinda... they have a band and some lady sings on a balcony... i dunno if thats Mardi Gras but it has a sign that says Mardi Gras!

That would be fun to have some kind of event! We'll be there that week, so I hope some fun activities are happening.

I haven't heard anything, but this New Olreans family will be celebrating Mardi Gras at DL. We will bring some beads along, and pass them around.

NO is all decked out in MardiGras decor. The only other MardiGras addition we saw was the show a pp mentioned at the gallery...which we LOVED It's a sing along, audiance participation. The kids got to play instruments and then dance around with.....something on a stick (maybe it made noise???). The band and Ms. (whatever her name was....the main 'character'/singer) tossed out little plastic necklaces (and they tossed plenty, we ended up with probably 10 between the kids getting them for participating and catching the ones thown). It was maybe 20 minutes or so, and the kids loved it enough that they asked to go over there again when we saw them doing it later in the day.
