Mardi Gras 2023 Concerts

So I guess the concerts must be dead since nobody is talking about them this year whereas last year there was a thread with alot of chatter.

yeah - to me the lineup is pretty uninteresting and they seems to have a lot less this year.

to be honest there is not one concert in that list that I would even pay attention too if I was walking by - that said there is a good range of musical tastes covered

It was enough for us to skip it entirely and just do WDW early February.

on the bright side, for those there, probably far less crowds to see the bands and shorter lines for those on standby during the concerts.

Usually I bag on Disney with all their greed and exclusiveness but
Disappointed in Universal. Cut concerts in half (which saves money). They need to do better next year.

So I guess that was it. They cut the concerts in half and didn’t add any new ones. Boo

I was disappointed too but my only saving grace is hoping the cost that was saved helped to prevent layoffs and decent wages for the TMs. I love UOs ‘streetmosphere’ and other live entertainment and I hope that sticks around for good.
