Hi everyone!!
We are from south LA and wanting to plan our 4 year old’s first WDW trip for Feb 28-March 4th which is her Mardi Gras break. I was reading some threads that sound like it is super busy! What should we expect? Should we consider another school break instead? Any advice and tips are greatly appreciated!

My understanding is that week is super crowded...and it's also winter break for NH.

I'm not saying don't go....but that would not be my first choice for a week if I had other options.

Late April/Early May is a sweet spot of crowds/weather.

This past year (2021) had Mardi Gras and Presidents' Day in the same week. Since schools in some regions of the US have off for one or the other, it was a double-whammy. 2022 shouldn't be as bad with the 2 holidays on separate weeks. Just be aware of the overlapping weekend at the end of Feb. Mardi Gras week will be busy but not insane.
