So I scheduled my first leg of trip at Universal when ( March 2-5)no concert is listed yet Go figures. Why don't they have it yet?? Either waiting on someone good or just trying to find a fill in??

And we will be at Disney on March 10 missing Big Time Rush. I am so angry with myself. To switch my whole trip around or not. I have a 8 year old and 11 year old daughter, they would ! Husband says no, leave our vacation alone, but I am tempted to switch all hotel reservations around. What a hassel though when my plan was set with dining, etc.

That won't be a cluster you know what when it comes to crowd control.

Note to self...do not plan on watching the parade this year. Cheap plastic beads and "coins" just aren't worth it.

Note to self...do not plan on watching the parade this year. Cheap plastic beads and "coins" just aren't worth it.

Eh, really only losing a relatively short one-way stretch of San Francisco that never seemed all that busy. People tend to congregate near the the stage and on the NY street.

I figure Kelly Clarkson will be the busiest concert of the season, but I also expect huge crowds for Hot Chelle Rae and Boyz II Men.

While I hope you're correct, I have had too many frightening experiences due to crowd management challenges during Mardi Gras at Universal to be as optimistic as you are. It doesn't help that I don't function well in tight crowds - I need space to breathe. With luck, they'll work it out and my fears will be groundless, but I guess we're just going to have to wait and see.

I've always found the cluster to be after the parade...an entire park full of people moving to basically the same area (the stage and the exit). Shortening the route isn't going to make this much worse...but it's still going to be bad no matter.

And in Universal's defense, they usually have TMs with flashlights and signs trying to direct people exiting the park out Rodeo Drive...it's just that they are usually ignored by the masses.

Looks like there are two TBA spots once again, March 3rd and March 17th... just like on the leaked list. Looks like Jill Scott was supposed to be in Miami on the 17th and canceled her MG performance:

For those going to Mardi Gras for the first time...this is where the headline concerts are held...at the Universal Music Plaza. There are no seats...it's all standing room only. The UMP is located right across from Monsters Cafe.
