Marco Island....

Does anyone know how far it is from Marco Island to Disneyworld?? Also, the best route?? Parents are taking all of us to Marco Island and we want to take the kids to Disneyworld for the day. Planned on going to DW and then sleeping at All Star Sports and driving back to Marco Island. We have 3 kids and I just want to know how long of a drive to anticipate! Thanks!

It's a little under 250 miles. You go I-4 to Tampa, then I-75 to Ft. Myers and Naples, then a smaller road out to the island.

There recently was a big road project on I-4 between WDW and Tampa that was causing serious delays, but I don't know if that is finished now.
