Wish me luck - I got up the nerve and registered for a 5k tomorrow!

Good luck!!!

As for me, did 15 min of leg pt exercises tonight- 195/800. Have houseguests this weekend but hopefully I'll still be able to get my workouts in!

:cool1: Yay me! Ran/walked the 5k this morning - misty and 60ish outside, not bad weather. Lots of families out, including one with a triplet baby stroller - now that mom is dedicated!

You would think in a run in which so many local families participate, with a name like "Lucky Leprechaun 5k" that they would have cute t-shirts. But NO, instead of lime green with dancing clovers, we get black with a green skull that says "Get Lucky". Yuck, yuck, yuck! Reminds me of something they would use in a commercial to show the dangers of cigarette smoking...

7 mile run plus rehab exercises
Longest run since Feb 2nd and it went ok. I did run 2 walk 1 and ended up with ~11:25 pace. My back is not happy, but it is not horrible. We did a bunch of yard work today (but I didn't count that as exercise). It was 60 which was awesome, considering it snowed earlier this week. I did have a horrid calf cramp but I am hoping that was from being outside rather than on the tm.

Thanks for the motivation everyone! :)

Congrats on your 5k 2TxAgs. :goodvibes

Our list is updated - congratulations to DisneyMagicMomma for reaching 50%!

65 min long run for me today around the college campus. Gorgeous weather, absolutely wonderful. Tried out "sport beans" for the first time, I liked them.

Congrats!!! So exciting!!! Bummer about the shirt, sorry :( but it sounds like you still had a great time! Yeah, stroller running moms impress me. That's dedication.

Congrats 2TxAgs! Great to have a good fun race!

U too rose for getting out there for such a long run despite your recent pains...

I did 3.5 miles this afternoon in beautiful sunny weather. Other than the trek up the huge hill home (which is cruel punishment) I felt great. Rven the hills felt good. Weather was about 50 and sooooo what I needed.

Supposed to be nice again tomorrow but I still have houseguests and ds's bday party so no repeat run for me. Maybe next weekend....

New total 240/800.

Friday-30 minute walk, 20 minute run
Saturday-30 minute wii step

Total

60 min run today
1st outdoor run since the PHM. Sure felt good to be on my way back again.
