Hello Everyone,

Having been to WDW 11 times I have never been in March but we are hoping to go next March (End of February beginning of March) I just wondering if a few of you lovely Disers would be able to help me!? Please!

Is the Epcot International flower and Garden festival always on early March?

How busy is it likely to be? I know spring break impacts WDW huge but does this really happen Early March?

I know it is one of those questions with out a real answer but am I likely to get free dining and 40% off at SSR or OKW that time of year?

Many thanks

We've been January and it was very quiet. Not march though. I believe it picks up a little bit in march but still quieter than the summer, obviously! If you have a chance of a good deal then I'd take it.

Just curious, do you take your kid when you go to wdw, if you don't mind me asking? Me (30) and my wife (28) are discussing having one last big wdw holiday before having kids as we think it'll be difficult to go after having them. A, financially, and b, *** of all the travel and heat and long days in the parks etc.

Just curious on your thoughts. Thanks!!

We've been taking our children since the age of 9 months, yes the travelling is harder, we tend to go in November as the parks aren't summer busy and the weather is a bit cooler. We took the view that you have to look after your kids wherever you are...so it may as well be in Disney World! Disney has some of the best baby care facilities in the parks to take a time out and feed / change babes etc. When the children were babies we did half days in the parks, as they have got older they can go for longer, but we still tend to brake up the days with rest periods. You will find lots of people on the boards that take very young children and have a great time and who can give you lots of tips.

We haven't taken DD to WDW yet only DLP! We did have one last trip before she arrived also out honeymoon so it was quiet a big/expensive trip!

We plan to just do morning then head back for a rest or a swim then may be go back out for a meal or fireworks!

if you want to see a scary spring break crowds picture, look at the picture of main street from Kathy Werling's blog yesterday.
http://www.disunplugged.com/2012/03/12/dumbo-and-barnstormer-at-magic-kingdom-in-walt-disney-world/

in the blog, she mentions that this week is the start of spring break.

but the first part of the fantasyland expansion opened this week aswell didnt it?

We want to avoid spring break if possible we are considering going before and coming home the day before her birthday as we have to pay for her flight once she is 2 So we will fly home on the 9th March x
