Daughter and I are going to Disneyland in March for our first time!!! I was wondering what everyones thoughts are as to whether it would be better to be there during the week or over the weekend. I know that crowds will be lower, especially during the week, but it seems like there is a little more going on over the weekend. We were considering going the 13-17, but are now thinking about the 11-15. Thanks!!!

It gets busier around spring break (whenever that is this year). Other than that it is a pretty good month. I'd throw a Friday or weekend day in there for the extended hours and entertainment, if you and your daughter can stay up to take advantage of it.

The earlier in March, the better. There is spring break. I think your dates are the beginning of spring break for a lot of students.

I'm sure we'll be there when someone is having spring break, and that's fine. What I'm wondering is if we'll be missing much by not going on a weekend, which from what I've read, there is a little more going on. But I guess I really won't know until Disney releases the park hours, etc. for March. I think we'll end up going during the week, when I can get cheaper airfare :cool1:

You might want to throw a Friday or Sunday in there. Fantasmic will probably running on a Fri, Sat, Sun schedule until spring break. It is a show not to be missed if you ask me.

Definitely go during the week. If you add a Friday into your trip then you'll get to see Fantasmic and stay at the park late one night. The tradeoff is definitely worth it because crowds are much lower during the week. DL is very much a locals place and with it being so close to L.A. and San Diego it gets packed with locals on the weekends. DL really goes out of its way to give really good discounts on passes and other items to locals and they definitely come!
