March Trip??

Guess who "might" be planning our annual March trip to DL???? Hi Dangermouse, Bumbershoot and crew..... So I kinda dropped off the face of the earth and never even finished my last TR. We are considering a last minute trip in March of course. And guess what....it would be the first week during the DIS Diva days.....

We're looking around now at Hotels, saddened that the Divas have taken over HOJO's as it's booked That's ok though...we have looked into Costcos special and it doesn't seem too bad at all.

One question I had, and I know someone here will know....why are the Fireworks not on the schedule the first week of march? Were they only on the schedule before because of the YOMD thing?

Look forward to becoming addicted to the boards again as I do each and every year.

Hi Nellie! Welcome back!

Sorry we took up all the space at the HoJo. You know, you might hold out for a room at the HoJo. I don't think we will use all the rooms reserved for our group, and some may be released soon. I'll double check with Beth on that, though.

The reason the Fireworks aren't showing and there are no parades in Disneyland is because they are currently repaving Main Street and redoing the tracks. They are showing F! nightly to make up for it though.

Oh, and from what I understand, Fireworks are scheduled to show on Sunday, the 8th. Will you still be there then?

Yea if you can check that would be great. I'm wondering "if" they do release them...when would that be. The COSTCO deal was PP for 1552 for 4 nights, parkhoppers, 100 gift cards and a free character breakfast. We have never done a package so I was suprised to see the cost being so competitive. The down side is we'd be having to call to see what it would be to extend it by one day.
That's a real bummer about the fireworks....I guess we'll just have to go back. We have been debating on holding out until October for my sons birthday but gosh I just can't imagine March without DL.
We are looking at 3/2-3/7. And of course....I'd love to meet up at some point.

Ok so scratch all that....we just booked our trip. We are going to be there 3/1-3/7 and staying at the Park Vue Inn. Before it took months to plan but we did this all in a matter of hours today. So yep, I'll be stuck on the boards for the next 4 weeks.

I think I'll be coming in at some point on Thursday, but not sure exactly when (I'm driving from a friend's house who lives nearby). Yeah, those girls over there on the Ladies' thread are chatty for sure. But they are friendly too so don't hesitate to post and just say hiya!

If you check the schedule on page 1 of the thread, you'll see all our planned activities and meals. I'm sure we can exchange cell #'s and find a time to meet.
