Now that the new year is almost here I can start thinking of holidays. We are arriving around nine pm and are staying three nights leaving around check out time on the day of departure. Our Disney stays have always been a week to 10 days so this is new for us and I have some questions. The reason for the short stay is we are doing a seven day cruise after.

Here is our plan, we will arrive check in and get settled. We plan on enjoying the room that night. The next day we will get up and enjoy the resort with reservations booked at Saana for 5 so that we can be at the bonfire for seven. The next day we plan on doing more relaxing and having an evening meal either a Jiko or going to DTD. We also have to figure out the best way to get from the room to Port Canaveral the next day.

As I look at this it looks very relaxing but we are not going to a park and my not leave the property will we be bored or is there lots to do and see at the lodge? My DS is 14 and DD 11 also DH and me on this trip. My Uncle and friend my visit us this trip for one or two nights and they will do what we want so no worries with them. We been to AK for dinner twice but never stayed.

Thanks

Cathy
ps Happy New Year to everyone

Sounds like a fun relaxing time. We have stayed at Animal Kingdom (Jambo) several times. There are many things to do. As far as getting bored it really depends on what your family likes to do. The pools are great! You can check out several different viewing spots for the animials. There are many activities available at the resort.

My teens and preteens love DTD. Lots of fun things to do there.

We want to try all the resorts so often visit a few and try to decide where we want to stay next.

I'm sure you will have lots of fun. The cruise experience is wonderful. Have a great vacation!:wizard:

I was thinking there would be enough to keep us busy. It is always nice to know someone has done it and enjoyed their time.

Thanks

Cathy
