March Souvies - the Horses are Back (Kind of...)

There haven't been many new souvie items (they seem to be waiting for the start Pixar Fest). That being said, there have been a few things.

The Yellow Mickey Balloon Popcorn Bucket is real! I saw it at the BVS popcorn stand, along with the two stands in Fantasyland. The Frontierland stand was sold out. It looks just like the red/blue/purple buckets, but comes with a soft strap. (The red balloon bucket is also still available.)

The PotC Stein was available at the venues in NOS. I got one at the Mint Julep Bar, but I also saw it at the Royal Street Veranda. I wonder if they'll still offer it after they change the Red Head scene because that's on the Stein.

The travel mug in DL features Mickey & friends on the teacups (purple lid and handle). DCA's mug features Mickey & friends on Screamin' (green lid and handle).

The round popcorn bucket features Mickey & friends on the PotC. The DCA buckets has Mickey & friends on the Boardwalk.

Baby Groot sipper is still available in DCA (Hollywood Blvd).

Light-up Cruz Ramirez straw clip is available the the Cozy Cones.

I haven't made it to TL, but I've seen several guests carrying/wearing the AT-AT bucket, so I think that's probably still available at the TL popcorn stand.

The egg hunts are going strong on DL, DCA, and DTD. Guests can choose from the six prize eggs (Mike, Sulley, Cindy, Belle, Mickey, and Minnie). They're also selling a set of Star Wars eggs (C3PO and Stormtrooper).

The in-park Starbucks have the YAH mugs and ornaments (mini-mugs). The travel mugs for both DL and DCA are also in stock.

For those that like the Dole Whip and Mickey Bar plush, they also have Mickey Caramel Apple and Mickey Pretzel. There is also a Minnie Cupcake and Minnie Macaron plush.

I think they just got them in. A couple of CMs in one of the shops was excited to see them for the first time.

The Red Rose Tavern no longer has the rose sipper cups. They're still available in some of the shops (with the BatB logo).

The Galactic Grill has straws with either a light up X-wing or Star Destroyer.

The walls are down on Main Street and some of the vehicles have returned! I saw the old fashioned fire engine and double decker bus this afternoon! (No horses, yet...)

There is nothing like this at DLR.

Occasionally they've offered popcorn bucket $1 refills for APs on specific to the promotional period buckets, but in general they don't have refillable mug or popcorn refill offers like WDW has.

On that note - I get the best coffee at Kona at the Poly in wdw ... Is there anyone at DL that had comparable coffee?

The buttons were free and at the cash register. They’re smaller than the birthday button, but pretty cute.

Hm, if they're free and people find out about them they are going to go FAST at least until they're old enough for the novelty to wear off. I wish I had known about them when I was there on Sunday!

Yeah, I've seen a lot of guests wearing them. Hopefully it's something they'll keep mass producing.

ok, thanks. I was hoping the design was woven in. I'm looking for a Disney themed strap for my car remote. so far the straps I've seen I didn't like the design or the design was just ink that would wear off.

The coffee supplier at DLR is Joffrey's, the same supplier as at WDW. (I don't know the exact blend used at the Poly -- you could contact Joffrey's to ask if it is used at DLR and where.) But there are also Starbucks (1 in each park and 2 corporate stores in DTD). Haagen Dazs and Ghirardelli's (I think) serve Peet's. La Brea Bakery in DTD serves Silverback. There is a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on Katella by the convention center.

I love that travel mug with Mickey & Minnie in the Tea Cups. Wonder if we’ll see this design when WDW puts out new Resort mugs.
