March Souvies - the Horses are Back (Kind of...)

For those that like the Dole Whip and Mickey Bar plush, they also have Mickey Caramel Apple and Mickey Pretzel. There is also a Minnie Cupcake and Minnie Macaron plush.

Where do they sell these at? I hope a lot of these items are still around at the end of April! Thanks for posting

The horses were back this morning, but just for training. They're making a left turn now at the hub (so going clockwise around). The trainer said they'd be back on Wednesday. This morning, Finn was being introduced to the new route and the new brickwork.

We saw a pair of the Disneyland Cats today over in DCA by Grizzly Rapids.

Snack break, so time for a fewwm more notes.

• Award Weiner has the Spiderman Glow clip/straw. It comes with the Spider Bite Slushie (flavor varies).
• The TL popcorn stand had both the Tie Fighter and the AT-AT premium buckets.
• The Yellow Mickey Balloon Popcorn Bucket is still available. I saw it in Fantasyland, BVS, and by Soarin. The hub had the red bucket. [Update: the yellow bucket is now at the Hub and Town Square stands as well.]
• Rose Gold ears and Spirit Jerseys seen pretty widely available. They're still popular (lots of guests wearing them), but pretty easy to find.
• They've had a "No Bag" line on the Harbor side every day so far. They're very strict about it being no bags. They have mulitple CMs out front telling guests that the line is for guests without bags (this includes backpacks, purses, fanny packs, clutches, camera bags, etc.). Everyone that goes through that line has to go through the metal detector.

So good to see the horses back! We love Finn! And that kitty is Francisco (although it is a female) -- a tiny, glamorous diva! You mentioned a pair of cats -- if the other cat was a longhair, dilute calico (also tiny), it must have been Snickers. They are frequently seen together.

I think this was actually been Snickers (good to have a name for her). I thought Francisco had a very dark face on one side, whereas this kitty had a lighter colored face and body and pretty long fur. The other kitty walked by, but I didn’t get a good look. I’ve seen them together in the past and it’s much easier to tell them apart when they’re side-by-side.

Wow, it's been so many years since I've seen a Disney Cat! I'll have to keep a lookout next trip.

Now that I've enlarged the photo, I think you're right. Snickers has been coming out more often -- she used to be quite the recluse. The two kitties really do make a lovely pair!
