March or Thanksgiving

I am helping a family friend plan their WDW trip and giving them a few days at DVC for their trip. Part of their struggle is deciding when to go. They don't want to take their kids out of school (as a teacher I admire and respect that decision.)
So when would you go, March (our Spring Break) or Thanksgiving (where we have a week off)?
My thoughts are this, crowds are likely to be about the same, but at least you get the holiday decorations at Thanksgiving. Other thoughts?

March is beautifully - it is so lovely. all the flowers are in blossum and the garden/flower festavial is going on.

that say March can get bad - if your spring break is Easter or Palm week - definitely go with Thanksgiving week. Otherwise would go with March.

of course would also check to make sure none of the local counties have all that week

these would include - Ocsecola, Polk,Orange, Lake. Seminole,

We are taking an extended family trip next year and in doing research, it seems that Thanksgiving week is less crowded than our typical spring break week, probably depends when your exact week is.
