March or April?

So we're thinking about going March 11th to March 15th, but I am concerned about crowds. So we're wondering if the end of April would be better. As far as crowds and weather, what kind of difference do you think we'd see? Any other reason to do March over April or vice versa? (Other than the fact that March is sooner and I wouldn't have to wait as long. )

Depending on what you mean by end of April that week in March doesn't look too bad according to the unofficial spring break poll. The very last week of April looks better though

Oh. That poll is a good idea. I didn't know it was there.

Looking at it, I worry about the fact that the March 15-March 19 tally is pretty high. If the first Monday people have off is March 15, they are likely to show up at the park over the weekend (March 13-14) which would be like half our trip....

April is probably better. But I'd love to go sooner. Auggh. I wish we could just plan to go back like every month until our passes expire. Unfortunately, we live in Pittsburgh and both have full time jobs. Man those job thingies get in the way.

I went 2 years ago in March and it is pretty packed. It's still packed in April however, the weather is much nicer. In March, it can get pretty chilly in the morning and at night. In April, the weather is usually very nice and warm. You will enjoy the pools alot more.
