March National Rental Car Rate Dropped!

Yippee!! I just checked my National Rental Car March reservation - and the price finally dropped to an acceptable amount. So, for anyone holding a March reservation, check your rates today. If you have a rental for 5 days or more, make sure you use the $30 e coupon on the front page of National's website. It expires the end of March.

I just checked National yesterday with a few codes and a free day coupon and I am still getting $233 for a 5 day emerald isle rental in March.

still getting $486 for 2 week rental ( midsize).
$30 coupon and AAA id code.
Not sure when you are booking , but nothing has changed for me.I'm first 2 weeks of March ( 1st -15th)

I just checked mine and it went down by about $30, however, it is still way higher than I have ever paid for a week. I actually booked through priceline today, because I didn't think the rates were going to drop. I will probably regret it, because I love renting off the emerald aisle. I ended up getting a week in an intermediate car from Alamo for $177. My fee at National was going to be $262 and today it was about $230. Oh well, If those rates don't drop more, I will be really happy. If they do I will feel really bad.

Entertainment book code (on the Entertainment coupons) with the e-coupon from National's website home page. It also works with AARP code.

My rate for March has gone from $233 to $188 with National for 5 days on Emerald Isle.
I am also using the Entertainment code plus a 1 free day coupon which is worth more than the $30 off a week coupon.
I am sooo glad to see the rate drop, I am very loyal to National and Emerald Isle, I hated the thought of going with Alamo or Dollar.

Which entertainment book code did you use?

My best friend is giving me her entertainment book National Coupons, since she wouldn't use them anyway. She told me the codes over the phone and I wrote them down, but didn't write which one was for what discount! I've been using the $30 off code I think, atleast that's what's reflected on the amount. Maybe the day off would give me an even better discount.

Entertainment coupons are
NF15 - One free day on a 5 day rental
NF14 - One free weekend day on a 5 day rental

You must have the coupon out of the entertainment book when you rent.

Entertainment contract id 5004607 - this was giving me the same weekly rate as my Emerald club discount.
