Today, for Officer Green's funeral, they let people line the streets along the processional route. I went and I took so many pictures. I will upload them to photobucket and post some of them. It was amazing to see how many people came out to show their respect for Officer Green and his family.

While I have been waiting for all of the funeral procession pictures to upload on photobucket, I decided I would do some shopping. So I went to Amazon.com and started looking around. This is what I found........


I got two pairs of this style, one this color and the other a khaki.

These in this dark denim

These in a dark khaki and rust color

And last, but not least, this top. I hope I love it as much when I get it as I do in the picture .

I was able to get all of this for about $95 including shipping. Now with the shirts I ordered from Kohl's, and these items, I will have 5 pairs of pants and 7 shirts. I will need to pick me up a couple more pairs of pants and some cute socks then I will be done with my shopping . Again I have to thank Lisa for inspiring me to do more bargain shopping .

Girl that ain't nuttin' I was at Walmart today and on the clearance racks they had a pair of green capris for $7; when I got to the checkout they rang up for $3. I thought about you immediately .

I got to get stuff on sale when I can!! If I had known the pants were only $3 I would have looked through the racks for more, but I had my sister with me so I couldn't go back and look ..

Here are a few pictures of the funeral procession for Officer Green. There were policemen from all across the South and even some from Chicago. President Obama sent a letter that was read at his funeral service.

The funeral process stretched for 10 miles.

Hundreds of people lined the streets along the route. The traffic on I-65 stopped as the funeral passed. It was a truly moving tribute to a hero.
