Is there any info on March hours being extended? Especially at DHS?

DHS hours were extended to 8:30 pm a few weeks ago. I expect morning hours to change but imagine this will not happen (if it does) until the middle of February. It seems that has been the trend. Maybe someone with more specific knowledge of the recent changes will chime in with better information.

It seems like they've really been taking their time to announce changes. Also curious whether they will do it in stages (to 8am, then potentially to 7am later). I've been checking daily!

Very interested in this possibility also with our upcoming March 6-14 trip.

I’ll be surprised if HS opening doesn’t at least go to 8am. I’m actually hopeful it doesn’t open any earlier than 8 as it will already be a challenge to get my kids up and to the park by 7:15! 😁

Ha, my 11yo's face when I told her we might have to leave by 5:30am was hilarious.

We have DHS planned on March 5 and with the new attraction opening on the 4th, I’m wondering if the opening will eventually change to 7 AM? Staying at YC so I’m ok with that but want to try and snag an earlier FP if possible....

I would imagine they will. I'm another March 5th-er. My youngest now lives in CA, so the time difference of three hours + an early am opening.... she'll do it, but we should probably know better than to speak to her on the walk to DHS!

Wondering if something is going on March 3... no Star Wars fireworks scheduled, and it's the only day with an 8:00 close (the rest are 8:30...) MMRR preview??

As that is starting to enter into Spring Break, I would be very surprised to not see them open earlier and close later.
Especially with the opening of MMRR.

It could be any day at all, but based on past patterns it will most likely be on Friday Feb 14th. I'd say 50% chance of happening that day. It will be no later than the 21st.

Does anybody know if there is a certain time frame for the FP window to open up after park hours are announced to be extended? Next day, within hours of announcing, totally random every time.

Or do I just need to stalk MDX every couple of hours after changes are made...

Are you thinking they would announce all expanded March hours on that day (or whichever day it is)? Just wondering if they do it all at once or like a week at a time. Holding out hope for a 2/21 announcement as that's when my 30 day window opens :earboy2:.

It’s not usually instant. It is often within the following 24 hours or so. Sometimes it takes longer. Often not all parks/rides are loaded all at once, more of a loading process.

It takes a while to update the new fast pass availability right? I'm trying to figure out when I need to start looking based on these new hours.

Last time it took several days so y just never know. I’m hoping for 8am Mickey ride fast pass drops!
