Hey All,

Typically, we were usually flying to FL during Feb or April school vacation week. Now that DS is in college, we are not tied to the MA school calendar. We are planning to head south over his spring break this year in March. I have found decent, not great flights on Delta from Boston, which will entail us driving about 2 hours to get to my parent's house. I realize that our flights will likely change a time or two between now and then if we book these flights

Ideally, I'd like to book on JetBlue, but all the comparable flights are about $200 more, so even with renting a car, it's still cheaper.

I suspect that I've probably already missed the 'good sale' for this time period, but since we don't usually fly this time of year, I'm really not sure.

Anyone, have some advice? I promise to tell you when we're flying, so you can avoid the same routes/timeframes as us.....:rolleyes1:p:teeth:

Don't forget March is college spring break season (varies by school).

Also, Orlando is hosting part of the NCAA basketball tournament on March 16 and 18, so that might influence traffic, and therefore costs.

Yep, we are going during his college spring break, so we are working around that.

We're not actually heading to Orlando, we are ultimately bound for Bonita Springs, so not necessarily flying into Orlando. (thank goodness, due to the NCAA tourney.)

we are going March 31- April 8th on Jetblue out of Boston and paid a little over $900 for the 2 non stop tickets. HOWEVER, looking now the price is still around the same but school vacation/Easter week is HORRIBLE...... We like Jetblue and will always go with them when we can.....I don't think there is any such thing as "reasonable" airfare anymore

I am flying out of Bradley, nonstop R/T, on SWA FOR $178. March 6-11.
