March Exercise Challenge - STOP the couch potato Madness!!

Haven't posted in a week...son was sick but he's okay now. After passing it along to me...! Does anyone else think it's odd that I appreciate a sickness that makes me NOT want to eat?

60 minute walk/run in this morning, so I'm at 450/750
 
I'm up to 405/1800 min. Unfortunately, that means that after a great start to the month, my bad habits have started to creep back in. Zero min for the past 2 days, and as of right now today isn't looking very good either. :earseek:

The good news is that today isn't over yet, so I may still be able to redeem myself. I'm off to a meeting right now but hopefully we will get out early enough to get some outdoor exercise in since it's beautiful outside today. If not I'll have to get moving indoors this evening.

Hmmm, Jennz, I see you're ahead of me with 440, I'll have to catch up. Maybe a little friendly competition will keep us moving. ;)

Busy here with all the stuff for DD's end of SR. year going on + the normal stuff. I started scoring for Pearson nights this week, so I'm still adjusting & trying to find time to get online.

I have to ask - what did you for 195 minutes? I consider 60 minutes a good workout, and I don't aspire to much more than that.

After yesterday's lazy day, today I had a good 60-minute cardio workout: 500/1200.

Well... I must admit that was an unusually high number for me. I had a friend call in the morning who wanted to walk. We did 7 miles in 100 minutes (outside in very hilly terrain... we live on a mountain). Then I had a circuit training class at the Y that night that was 30 minutes. Before the class I did 15 minutes on the elliptical to get my heart rate up. After the class I did another 30 minutes of circuit training on my own, and then I finished with a very brisk 20 minutes on the bike.

Not something I can fit into my schedule every day, but it was a great feeling!
