Hi,
We have ressies for CBR for 3/8-3/15 and I, like many of you, am waiting patiently for discount codes. Right now, with my DC discount I think we will be paying approx. $158/night with tax. I was checking out the historical data on Mary's Mousesavers page and it doesn't look good. There were no discount codes for the peak season last year.

I am hoping that since Easter is later in April that they will discount the beginning of March. Any thoughts or opinions that
you have would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I haven't seen codes for the time of season for many years....well at least for the past 4 years that I have been going....

March of 1999 I did get an AP rate at Dixie Landings - now PO - Riverside. The rate came out in January. I booked it for my daughter's spring break, which was the first week in March. Here's hoping it will happen again for you!

I'm hoping for discounts for this March....we are going to cruise for 4 days and then WDW for 3...currently we are off site but if I can get a good rate for on site I'll switch...especailly with the return of EE

March is a great time to visit, "almost" worth paying peak season rates. There aren't many crowds, the weather is warm, PERFECT TIME TO GO! :) Ahh, I hope we decide to go for a weekend this March!

Thanks for the info everyone.

Zurgswife: Let's keep our fingers crossed. I think we may have a good chance since Easter is late April this year.

Cali D: Glad to hear the weather is warm. I've never been in March and I was worried about that.

I'm hoping....The thing about the weather that time of year...we go from the 1st or 2nd for 7 days...and the weather has always been something different....warm 80's to rainy 60's....but we usually just march on through no matter what the weather...

I am discouraged by the outlook for codes for March as well. This is our first trip and I really wanted to go to the Poly, but may need to do a split between the Poly and the POR, since we have a family of 5.

Should I book and then hope for codes, and then try to change the reservation? Or can I afford to wait?

Counting down a zillion days to our trip (don't know how to get the fancy counter deal - this is only my second try on this board)

Actually we did get a discount off Mousesavers.com. It was a code for moderates using an American Express card...believe it was approx. $121.00 (tax incl.) a night....stayed at CBR Mar.3-10.... was our third trip in six mths...The weather was gorgeous.....

I don't want you all to get your hopes up but peak season for 2003 is February 13 thru April 26. Just because Easter is late in 2003, doesn't mean that the Peak Season changes at Disney. You have all said it, historically, peak season doesn't have discounts because Disney doesn't need to. People come anyway; President's Week, Winter Break, Spring Breaks, Easter. People travel when school is out so there's really no need for Disney to offer an incentive to come because people will come anyway.

Not trying to burst bubbles; just being realistic. If you book a deluxe, counting on a code inthe Peak Season, you will probably be disappointed AND be stuck with a higher resort bill than you wanted or can afford.

Book what you can afford for now; if a code comes out you can always apply it to your existing ressie OR upgrade to a different resort.
