March crowds??

My kids have spring break the week of March 16th. How will the crowds be? We like that their break is not the week of Easter. The school district is trying a new calendar this year.

The general rule of thumb is that anytime between mid-late march all the way to mid-April will be pretty crowded, but the majority of the crowds will be during the two weeks surrounding Easter. Crowds shouldn't be that bad, but plan for them just in case. The online calendar doesn't have the hours up for March yet, but when they come out, DL hours of 8AM-12AM mean the most crowded. Anything less than that is going to be not as packed.

I am crossing my fingers for no crowds before spring break when we are going on the week of March 8th. I don't think that my dd gets her spring break till April so I didn't even think of spring break in March.

When DH and I went this past March/April during springbreak season we found that during the week although busy was no where near as busy as Friday-Sunday, I would suggest doing during the week and avoiding the weekend cause holy moly, were the lines crazy long. It was still very enjoyable but we were glad we got on all the rides we wanted during the week

Thanks for the responses. I booked the 15th, 16th and 17th which is a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday at Hojos. I think these are good days. We always seem to do a Wed, Thurs, Fri and Friday usually ends up a wash because of the crowds.

Plus those days work out better cause Dh is off and the entertainment rate is offered. I'm all booked!
