March Break

Does anyone know when other provinces/states have their March breaks ? Just wondering if it is the worst time to go or if they are all over the place in terms of when they occur. Any thoughts ?

Alot of the states have them in April. We always go near the end of April to avoid Easter and all the march breaks.

The spring break in BC is March 14th - 21th this year, but Florida is not a huge vacation destination for the westcoasters, so we shouldn't create too many crowds for you lol. It seems that the spring breaks are staggered over several weeks, so it's pretty hard to avoid crowds in the spring. However, our family has always visited WDW during the late winter or spring and we have found the crowds the longest during the week that has President's Day in it (February 16th ) The last time we went, was towards the end of March and we were horrified when we got there, to find out that it was the week of the Florida Spring Break. The crowds were not too bad though and the longest lineups were at the Islands of Adventure. But with all the careful planning that we DISer's do, we were able to outsmart most of the people and enjoyed all the parks we went to. With a quick search on google, I think that the spring break in Florida is March 21 - 28th this year. The key to a good visit, regardless of the time of year is careful planning, and then, even the largest crowds are manageable. Hope this helps!
