I am planning an end of March/ beginning of April wedding at WDW. For choosing the time of the ceremony, I want to choose a time that has the least risk of rain. Is rain typical? Does it usually only happen in the afternoon? Which time do you think would be best: 9am, 11am, 1pm, or 3pm?

Thanks :)

It's hard to say, if you are looking at 2016. During the spring, it's typically drier but we are expecting a wetter than normal winter and spring due to El Nino. Otherwise, during our "dry" season, if it does rain it's usually tied to a weather front and could rain all day if the front is moving slowly, or for just an hour or two if the front moves quickly. If the front stalls over us (which happens often) it could rain for more than one day. So trying to predict what the weather will be for any given day, or even week, really isn't possible. I would definitely have a rain plan in mind when making your arrangements.

Couldn't agree more - TYPICALLY March/April is the dry season - but so far this "dry" season it seems we've had more rain than during the Summer rain season

I agree with have a rain back up plane they do say April showers bring may flowers.

but it is know to rain in FL at all times of the year if I had to chose the time I think it is most likely to rain I would say the after noon but with that said it could easily rain in the morning.

Thanks for the feedback. We will definitely have a back-up plan and I'm thinking I will still go with 3:00pm (preferred time) and just take my chances since it is pretty unpredictable :)

I will say the 1st week of April is by far our favorite time of year weather wise.

Warm mornings where you can wear shorts at 8:00am with no jackets. Hot mid day, great for cooling off at the pool, but not so hot you have swamp *** if you stay at the park. Stays warm enough at night to normally not need a jacket. And usually no rain.

I have to agree it's so incredibly hard to predict. We had 2 days of solid rain during one of our April trips and another didn't see a single drop the entire week. Definitely have a backup plan.
