Thinking of booking for last 2 weeks in March - has anyone been at this time?
What is weather like? How busy are the parks?

We did in 2003, so quite a while ago now. We found the parks to be ok, but there were some Spring Breakers around so we had to watch for that, and plan a little bit more.
Weather was like a nice summers day here, went a little chillier on the night but only enough for a light jacket or fleece.

Hopefully someone will be along soon with a more recent report of March! :rotfl:

We usually go end of March/beginning of April and as Gemma says the mornings and evenings can be chilly enough to need something on your arms but the days are very warm. As far as crowds go, the parks are OK but try to get there early for the best experience as they can get crowded later on - especially if Spring break or Easter fall around that time.

I went end of Feb 2010....and its not warm. Some days were warm for us, i think I wore a vest a few days, but alot of the time I was going round in hoodies and jackets in the day. I also remember my brother wearing gloves one day! But that was February, the year before I went in end of March, start of April and it was red hot!

The parks were the busiest ive ever seen them in the first few days but that was because it was holidays, the second week wasnt busy at all, so going into March you should be ok.

We're going this March and I'm expecting spring break crowds as although Easter isn't until the end of April it's so late this year that a lot of schools are taking their break in March to even out the length of their terms.

We'll be getting to the parks at rope drop to beat the crowd.

Weather wise I'm hoping for mid twenties most days. :)

Last year it was packed at spring break but only for a few days it was mainly the New Orleans crowd, once they dissapear its alot better

We have been at this time and weather wise cant remember it being too cold. The only time we have had issue with the cold is February. As has already been said the parks will depend on whether it is spring break or easter. Other than that you should be fine :goodvibes

:cool1:

Thanks for all your replies. Booked for 17th -31st March - can wait.

We went March 2005 and 2009 and agree with everything Gem said :thumbsup2

The only thing to look for is where Easter falls as if easter falls at the end of March it will be a lot busier!!
I think in the 28 days we have been in March we have seen 2 days of rain !!!

A fab time to go x
