When are the rates for March going to go on sale? I have been checking every day and nothing seems to change. It seems like they should've had some sales by now!! Thanks and happy holidays!

i posted the same queston a few days ago michelle.we're going on dis cruise march 15th and i have been checking the airfare prices for 3 months and they still are sky high.i'm traveling from the boston area and i know march is normally priced a little higher because it's spring break time so i was thinking anything below $200 would be good.now the way it looks if i could get anything under $250-$300 would have to do.we'll see but i'm gonna wait until at least after the first.
good luck.

Sorry guys, but March is Spring Break time and a busy traveling time, so prices are up at that time. We are doing the Land/Sea package starting on 03/20 and paid $240.00 and that was a couple of months ago. Our TA told us to jump on that price because it wasn't going to get any better. Even a couple of months ago we had to opt to fly in the day before, because there was no avail. on any early flights for the 20th.

Good Luck

we've flown a few times in march and we expect the prices to be a BIT more because of the so called spring break traveling season.
but we fly delta a lot and i have been checking there web site everyday and just to prove a point on the airlines gouging in march and using the spring break excuse.
a non stop flight from bos to mco on 3/15(flight #2351)and a return flight from mco to bos on 3/22(flight 2402)yesterday was priced at $477 today it is now $599.
and guess what if you check seat selection on the flight going down there are 43 seats sold and on the flight back is 21.both out of plane that seat a 120 people.
i have been checking for the last 3 months for flights that week and the lowest direct flight was over $300.
so i guess since we bailed out most of the airlines after 9/11 this is how they thank us.planes less than half filled at sky rocketed prices.

I checked Travelocity and it seems that Spirit, NW, Delta, and United all have lower fares thru 1/6/03. I wonder what they will do after that? Be sure to keep checking.

They probably will then come up with new low fares that take you through 2/13, then there won't be any low fares offered until May. If you notice, Expedia & Travelocity are already offering low-fare flights on NW & Spirit that don't start until May 1st and end May 31st. We like to fly direct from DTW to MCO so I've been watching Spirit & NW since we returned from our last trip in Feb. 2002, the airfare has done nothing but go up since I started checking it. I finally booked NW for 2/23 returning 3/3, that's a Sunday & a Monday, for $254.50 per person, if we left on a Friday and returned on Sunday it would be at least $100 more per person! ~:(~

Not sure if I asked you, but do you see/use Dennie for your skate sharpening? My DD just got her new ones from Burley's about a month ago. Dennie has a temp mount on them. Needs to get tightened down. Hit the ice lately? I haven't in a while. Need to get back in the swing of things after the holidays. Anyways, we don't have our ressies for OKW yet, either. I am just hoping I can get a decent fare. The itch is getting really bad now. Usually by Aug/Sept we have our tix/ressies made for the following March. Nothing even close yet!! I have 1 ff ticket on NW and 1 on Delta to use. Maybe I will scope it out and see which one is cheaper and has better times. Flying midweek is ok for us.

We just bought tickets this week. I too had been waiting for rates to go down. But rates were going up, and the decent flight times we getting more and more expensive. I called the airlines and priced some tickets for a couple of travel dates and asked the agent how full the planes were. She said they were very full (for 2/22-3/1). I figured if the flights were nearly full, we wouldn't be seeing any sales. We ended up paying $270 each and doing a Friday-Friday trip (instead of Sat-Sat). At least we have decent flight times and a direct flight on the way back (nice with small kids).
