Okay, Amanda - you better do your "lets get warm dance" soon. I keep checking the weather and it is getting colder!!

But I realize that if it is sunny, it will be okay - just really could use that warmth these days.

I went online and registered a while ago and printed out everything. Megan, something is not right - contact bc it will go so much faster at check in when you get to the ship. Have a safe trip down and we will see you at 3:00.

We leave Friday and can't wait...just counting down and crossing things off the list!

Bob, I put those magnets on the back of my white board (they have adhesive you peel off) and they stick right on- or you can hang it over your fish. I did put together the canvas totes for you to hang over the fish for the FE gifts just in case you don't get a chance to get anything - so tell Heather that is done. If I had more time, I would have handmade you one, but unfortunately, time is critical these days.

Jackie, thanks thats what I was planning on doing. Those canvas totes will be great, I will let Heather know. We will have this all figured out for the next time we sail on a DCL.

Bob - we are going to Atlantis with our kids as well as my cousins and thier children. We rented a room at the Comfort Inn across the street and you get passes for everything at atlantis - waterpark, pools, the dig, aquarium, beach. Google comfort inn nassau bahamas and it should be the first to pop up. I called and made my reservation just to be sure it was the one linked to Atlantis. Glad to hear the party went well.

We called Comfort Inn and they said that we would have to book a 2 nite stay min. The price jumps up almost $100 a night starting on the 8th so 2 nites would be about $650 for a room.
If you try to do it on line they tell you that it has to be a 4 nite min. I called Atlantis, and they said that they sell tickets to the public at the hotel on a 1st come 1st served basis for $110 for adults and $80 for kids 4-12.
To book it on the cruise it was well over $700 for our family of 4. I asked if they sold out and the girl said that this time of year they don't, but in another couple of weeks when spring break really gets going they usually do.

Due to snow our vacation will begin tonight at 6:30 when I get off work instead of tommorrow morning. I am not sure if that is a good or a bad thing, but it will be an interesting night!!! Plus we will get to FL around 4 am and sleep in and wake up in FL, not NC!! Yay!!! Hopefully no one else gets messed up by the snow.

lol sunday's high is 72 and Monday's high here in FL is 76!!

It's forcasted to be cold this week and warm up this weekend so hoping to PERFECT weather like last year!!! PLEASE PLEASE

Megan, I just called and added me and Milton to the shuttle for sunday at 10:00am so you can call anytime and get your family added. But if you are parking your car at the port you DO have to pay the extra $20, no big deal but not what I was told a few weeks ago. Whatever, I'm happy that we still got the deal we did and can't wait to get there on Saturday

How old are your kids? We have two boys' 10 and 7. Our 7 year old is the MAW child.

We are a family of 5 - Me & DW (OTH), DD (11), DD (8), DD (6).

This is my youngest's Wish - it started out months ago as just a trip to Atlantis - but now she and her sisters are way excited to be going on the cruise. We are all experienced travelers, but this will be our first cruise ever. Without the generosity of MAW it probably would not have been a possibility.

I'm sure after this cruise you will be cruising for a long time afterwards. Almost to the date last year I took my first cruise and loved it better than the parks!! Now this one will be our third and we are already planning summer and maybe fall and Def the Dream coming up next year!! I need more off time from school and work to do everything!! lol

We made it okay, we came in at 5 am and our daughter woke up at 7:50, so barely any sleep for me. She had pink eye last weekend and now I forgot her drops just in case and she wakes up with pink eye again. So now we have to find a Dr. that accepts military insurance in a small town to get more drops. What a great way to start our vacation.

Are there still no teens ages 15-17 going yet? I have twin DDs who are 16, so if anyone has teens that want to 'meet' before going to Aloft, let me know.

Amanda we are on the 10:00 shuttle and I confirmed that it was $20 to park.

We finally ended up at the Emergency room since they were the only ones that would take active duty tricare, then finding a store to fill our prescription. We spent our whole first day of vacation at the dr.'s, but we finally were able to relax around 6 or so. Tomorrow is a new day and right now we are at my sisters house and Carlee is loving playing with kitty cats. A very relaxing day to a hectic day.

Just learned I can't PM here until I get my post count up to 10. I'm not sure we will make 3:00 because we land in Orlando at noon and I was allowing three hours just to make it onboard. Is that overly pessimistic?

Anyway, the weather forecast for the Bahamas sure looks good:

I hope you had a safe drive down. You should be able to get Wifi on an ipod touch, I have my husbands old iphone and without a sim card it is basically an itouch.
