I cant believe i havent found this thread earlier! Me (39), DW (40) and DS (5) with be going with all of you. This is going to be our first Disney Cruise and we are super excited. I have even learned how to make door magents! Weell.....just a couple so far. We booked a Cat 11 but got a great bump to Cat 6, room 5144. Hope to see y'all there!!!
And one thing...im still really fuzzy on what a Fish Extender is.....can someone help me out?
It is a way to exchange goodies and gifts with fellow cruisers. There is a link about them in the FAQ section. Unfortunatly you have missed the sign up for our cruise
When you walk around the ship you will see different "mailboxes" as my kids call them hanging from a big fish clip outside staterooms. Those are Fish Extenders.
I have been reading that too...I am not worried about myself getting seasick as much as I am the kids...what can you give a kid for it if it becomes an issue?

Seabands are wrist bands that are designed to help with seasickness. Some people swear by them, others not so much.
As far as the gathering at 3:00 in the Promenade Lounge, will the 2:30 ship tour be done by then? This is our first DCL trip and were looking forward to the tour. On that note, is the tour pretty good????
Thanks!!!
Where did you get informationon the ship tour? Do you have to sign up early for it? I would like to do that too. We are entering into this blind and a tour might behelpful.
Getting close....I am more than anxious. Have one little box to ship down-need to get that finished. Then I want to really get packing!
So how many bags do you all check now that most of the airlines charge (and have increased) their checked baggage fee. We are using bigger carry ons this year and then are going to try to get away with 2 checked pieces total. (family of 4)
We checked 3 bags last year but used back packs for carry on, this year bigger carry on = less checked, our hopes anyway
For seasoned fliers, Garment bags meet carry on restrictions right? I see some of the newer one with Carry on listed on the sale tag-ours is a few years older but looks the same size. Our goal....as many clothes in that bad boy as possible!
