March 6th, 2010 7 Night Western

Is this Nachi place a hotel? I guess I don't understand the whole thing here.

I had the same questions.

I checked the link and it looks like a pretty cool beach excusrion with food and tasty adult beverages included.

Looks like something I would enjoy if I wasn't with an infant this trip!

We will be chillin' on the empty boat for all the ports.

I'm actally looking very much foward to that!

Yah its a beach club, not a hotel. They only allow 100 people a day in, and its unlimited food and drinks all day. I like that it has a pool too.

we will prob just get off the ship in cozumel and do some shopping and then maybe walk around, but mostly stay on the ship and in Grand Cayman I think maybe a beach excursion in the morning like we did last time and then go around town a little after:thumbsup2

Hi everyone! My husband and I just booked this cruise! This will be our 4th Disney cruise. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.

Since you have been on 4 Disney cruise, what's 1 or 2 things that you this we should not leave the house without?

I can tell you what I wouldn't leave the house with after having been on 8 cruises, 9 by the time this one comes. I don't leave my house without lots of money, sunscreen, a camera, a video camera, ipod, cell phone, hat, and clothes:thumbsup2

Something I plan to bring this time that I didn't last time, is a couple of travel mugs. The cups they give you at the soda station hold about 3/4 of a cup of drink and are useless!!!
I also might bring a water bottle and fill it up with juice at breakfast to put in the room - I don't want to drink soda all day and some juice would be nice.

That is an excellent idea!!! I need to try and remember that!

yeah I always forget to bring a travel mug, good idea:thumbsup2. Although I did see people with a mug and they had to use those useless cups your talking about to fill it up, maybe it was just the cruise I was on don't know

I bet they make you use the small cups to fill the mug for health code rules or something.

Yah thats fine....but then I can carry my mug around after it is full :)

Also - we didn't know until the 3rd morning about the parrot cay buffet breakfast - it is waaaay better than the buffet up on the lido deck. Skip the buffet and go to parrot cay if you want a decent buffet! Its also way more relaxed and quiet in there!
I have to say DCL food wasn't the best compared to other cruises I have been on, but everything else is far superior!

what is the main difference in the two buffets? I need to start making a list of suggestions here...they are all good so far!:thumbsup2

Herd...

Parrot cay has more of a sit down feel and is usually far less crowded. Much easier to find a table.

The food is pretty much the same. They serve your drinks there.

It is worth it if you want to take your time.

We often do both.

I found the food better at Parrot Cay. There is an omelet station too.

Disney needs to do a better breakfast though. Its not that great. The pancakes are disgusting!
We cruised NCL last May and their breakfast waaaaaaaay outdid DCL.
This time I want to try a sit down/be served breakfast - we never did get to that last time. We slept too late most mornings. lol.

Wow I was just looking at our cruise. It must be FAR from sold out. Still the $730 cat 12 rate and also main dining is still available. It is really unusual for main dining to be available 4 months out.
We might be seeing some good upgrades :)
