March 6th, 2010 7 Night Western

So who is hyped about 2011?? Decisions decisions.... I live 20 mins from Vancouver and can't believe the ship will be so close, but at the same time I have never had a strong desire to do an Alaskan cruise. I am thinking Europe summer 2011....maybe....?? lol.

I used to think that an Alaskan Cruise was for old people lol however, I find myself wanting to go on one! does this mean I am now old?:confused3

Yes that makes you very old!!! lol
I am just not 100% sure I am into doing Alaska - I want my vacation to be on a beach with a fru fru drink and a lounge chair - not panning for gold! lol

I see mountains every day, and have seen tons of wildlife in my lifetime - I probably wouldn't even want to get off the ship in Alaska much - its just not for me.
That being said - its extremely tempting when the ship is 30 mins from my house to go on it for a week and just relax on the boat and do a few things off of it.

I'm ready to go on the Europe 2011 as well!! Alaska doesn't intrest me too much, I'd rather be at the beach:)

I'm excited for 2011, we are going to try to book the LA to Vancouver cruise since it stops in San Francisco:goodvibes and maybe a alaska cruise

I would love to do the LA to Vancouver, but the timing is all wrong for school schedules. Just wouldn't work for us :(

Hi! We'll be joining you on this cruise. New to the Dis boards but not to WDW or DCL. This will be our 4th DCL cruise; 3 on the Wonder and this will be our 1st time on the Magic. We have 2 kid Frank 8 and Dominic 5 at the time we sail. Less than 6 months! We booked yesterday and had to take a GTY cat. 11;so who knows here we'll end up. Nice to meet you all!

It is great to have you join us!! We also have a facebook group that will help people to hopefully get to know each other better also before we cruise.

So, how many cruises has everyone been on Disney and Non Disney

I've been on 8 cruises all Disney, and both Magic and Wonder, and by this cruise I'll have been on 9 since I am going on a 3 day in December:thumbsup2:cool1:

We have gone on 2 cruises in the past with RCCL We did the Southern route one year and the Western route the next year...we have never cruised with Disney before and the kids have never cruised before.

for our newer members here dont forget about the facebook group we also have if you would like to join.

We have never been on a cruise before.
Where we're from cruising is not a typical way to spend a holiday.

nice, I want to try RCCL one day. Now how do I stop cruising DCL to actually book on RCCL. DCL is great thought I'm sure your kids with love it and your and your wife will as well. I'm 21 and love it, I'll turn 22 on this cruise:goodvibes

Myself, my wife and 3 boys (12/8/6) will be on this cruise for our kids' Spring Break. This is the first cruise for the kids, 5th for us, 1st DCL cruise. We have not been on a large ship in 19 years (actually the Big Red Boat) so it will be a new experience for all of us.

We will actually fly down to Orlando on Thursday night and spend Friday at the Magic Kingdom, to get everyone in the mood for the cruise.

Check your ressies...
I had room 5133 booked and logged on today to see I was now in 6504!
I wasn't too happy and called DCL and was put on hold for a while, finally transferred to a manager who claims that room will be 'out of order' during the cruise.
Now I notice cat 11 is all gty....
I was hoping for an upgrade, but 5139 was available...grrrrrrr...lol.
I loved before how we were just off the elevators - we had 5131 last time and LOVED the location.
I don't take well to someone changing my 'vacation vision'. lol (kidding).

I wonder what is wrong to make the room "out of order" LOL. I got on line and checked ours and we are still in 6053.
