March 6, 2011 Disney Dream 4 night cruise

I agree with Westjones. I have cruised on RCL twice and then I did the Wonder in December. It was wonderful especially with a little one. I can't wait until March 2011. We are officially under the 6 month mark!!!!! I am booking a 7 day cruise on the magic for Nov 2011. It is pretty amazing!

I don't know what I was calculating, we are 8 months away! Okay I am rushing the summer so we can get through this year and be that much closer to March 2011!

Hi All,

My DW and I just booked this cruise last week. Our friends dropped out of April so we moved it to be a my Birthday cruise! We can't wait to be on the Dream. This will be the first part of our 7 day back to back.

Our Spring break in Nova Scotia is two weeks in February this year due to hosting the Canada Games. I think everyone I talk to is heading to Florida/Disney! Glad we are not going at that time. Most other Atlantic Provinces are the second or third week in March.

Regs,

Chad J.

This will be our 1st B2B cruise ! It will be me,Gina and DH Bruce along with my MIL & SIL for this cruise. Then just me & DH on the 3-day. This will also be my birthday....but as empty nesters, who's counting !! :rotfl2:

I'm going to wait and see closer to the time about the weather as far as excursions go. I'd love to go to the waterpark at Atlantis. We've been to the aquarium there and it's great. Definitely worth going to. Everything is very expensive. We ordered 2 mimosas...$32 !! :scared1: We were going to eat lunch there, but ended up back on the ship for burgers.

If you haven't been to Nassau go to the market, but be ready to bargain. The Pirate museum is very good. We did the dolphin tour with the Granddaughters one year and that was alot of fun. There's a couple of hotels that offer day rates.

See you on the ship !:dance3:

This our first cruise of anykind. There are three of us including our daughter which will be 4 at the time. Any play friends for her. I've been counting days for over a year.

Hey Everybody, Add three more to the list!!! It will be DW, DH, and DD (age 11 for the cruise). We went on our first Disney Cruise this past April and had a blast, so here we are again. If enough people are interested, I would love to do the FE. It was so much fun returning to your cabin and finding a treat!! Can't wait to see the new ship:banana::banana::banana:

:welcome: It's good to see more Disney cruisers !! Yes, cruising with Disney can be habit forming ! :rolleyes1This will be our 9th ! Our son & family went on their 1st in July and they've booked a Med Cruise with us next May.:cool1:

FE's are fun. I might be interested in participating ??:confused3

My daughter will be four then as well. Maybe we can have them meet?

I am definitely interested in doing the FE.

Hello fellow cruisers!!
Looking forward to this cruise! :boat: :cool1:
We are Canadians from out west in Alberta.
This is our 2nd cruise with DCL.
We are celebrating a very special event on this cruise, the 3rd anniversary of DD's princess: last chemotherapy treatment in Feb 2008.
A 2nd celebration is our 9th anniversary at the end of the month.

We switched to this cruise from the 7d Western on the Magic, as we wanted to save some $$ for our 6 days at the park @ the Caribbean Beach Club.

We are not interested in doing the FE thing, sorry... with luggage weights and restrictions and all the stuff we need to bring along for a 12 day trip...

But yeah! This is gonna be fun peeps!!!:cheer2:

Does anyone have any thoughts on our chances of changing to 1st dining?? I don't know if our 6 year old will make it for the late dining.:confused3
We are taking the Magic Express from the Caribbean Beach on the morning of the cruise... any ideas what time they make it to port for me to request a change once on board??
TIA
Wanda

Honestly, I think it may be hard to get first dining this time because in March when I made my reservation I got 1st dining and a week later (mid March) our friends decided to join us and they were waitlisted for 1st dining. Now since then they have been moved to first dining, but I was surprised that at almost a year from this cruise they were already all booked for first dining.

Have you asked to be waitlisted yet? And I am not sure then the buses arrive, but I think it is mid afternoon. I know it is later than when we drive ourselves and we are there when they open.

You could always used a Limo service to take you there earlier so you could have a better chance of switching.

Oh and WELCOME! I am so excited about this cruise. I can't wait to see the Dream :)

Welcome !!:dance3:
And what a wonderful thing to celebrate !!!!
I would suggest taking a limo from the hotel to the pier if you want to board as soon as possible to try and change your dining seating. We have taken Tiffiney Town Car many times. It would be $110 + tip from the Caribbean Beach to Port Canaveral. Possibly cheaper than the bus x 3 people.:flower3:

So... how would it work if we linked rezzies with someone who was already 1st dining... do you think that would possibly get a switch for us??
Ya never know... just asking...

Sounds like a great idea. It might work. Sorry, we're 2nd seating .

S'alright... perhaps being from the mountain time zone she will still be on "our time" when it comes to meals etc.
We will still try to change our dining when we board, but I guess we can't stress over it!

Hi'ya all!
We did it we confirmed our rezzies at WDW prior to this cruise. We went with a preferred room at the POR.:dance3: I really would have liked the CBC but thre were a few days where we would have been in a Pirate themed room and then moved to a prerred... didn't want the hassel. But I will keep my eye :surfweb: on it! The pool there looks so fab for our DD!

I think you will really like POR. My girls liked it SO much better there than CBR. And one cool thing is there is a boat to take you to DTD if you want to go there (nice place to hang out the first night you arrive).

And at PO you can used both themed pools (the one at POFQ and POR). The food court is great there too. And it is just beautiful there!

Our family is booked anlong with some frineds... Can't wait to see the new ship!!!
