March 5, 2011 - Bushwacker Wild Wild Westerners

I am so excited. Can't wait to be in sunny Florida!!! How many other people had to ship their FE stuff? I way underestimated the amount of space all that stuff would take up until I saw it all laying out on the floor while I was sorting through it. I'm pretty sure that suitcase would've weighed well over 50lbs.

No FE stuff for us...but am thinking I have WAY TOO much other stuff packed!!!! I am having DD look at our last cruise pictures to see how many suitcases we had brought (can't remember :sad2:)
Even when I TRY NOT to over pack...it still always seems to happens:scared1:

:cool1::cool1: Won't be long now!!!!!! :cool1::cool1:
Can't believe that after 2 years are sail date is so close!!!!! :goodvibes

We will be on this sailing. I haven't had time to read all of the posts on this thread. I was wondering if there are any other 7-8 YO boys on this sailing? We will be staying at the Residence Inn the night before the cruise.

Welcome :yay:!!!!!!
We only have DD's and they are older:)

Ok I am getting nervous... Starting to have the "Oh My I forgot to pack....." dreams. I guess if I have medications, one outfit each, swim suites and documents we are good..... RIGHT? I have not even started to pack! :scared1::scared1: Actually I still have last minute things to pick up.... Almost forgot goggles, so thanks for that! I still hav to get a pair of shoes for DD and a suit jacket for DS. I decided not to takee DD's dress to the cleaners instead to wash it (it's satin) and let them iron it on the ship. What do you think of that?
You would think since I have been off work for a month that I would be all ready. :headache: I guess it is hard to function with one arm. The scary thing is I have to recount how much Bushwacker money we actually have :surfweb: I usually work all the OT I can before a cruise and could not do it this time because of this stupid accident! Boy do we really need this vacation.

As far as the weather.... This week (the last week in February) seems like the weather is always a little rough, but the next week seems to be pretty good. We are going to hope that is the case again.

Ok, tomorrow sewing and packing..... BJ & Lady Story, I will call you. D~ message me the other place your plans. Michelle, I should call you this week. You leave before us though.

:woohoo:

If some of veteren cruisers could please help me out :flower3:?
We want to get off the ship early on Saturday the 12th because we are going to visit Kennedy Space Center before our evening flight. We have late seating so that means our breakfast would be around 8 right? If we do that, we would get off later. I would like to get off close to 8 if possible. Where do you recommend getting breakfast or could I go pick up breakfast for everyone and bring it to our room? Also, if we do that could we just take our luggage off the ship on our own then? I am trying to maxamize our time at KSC...Thanks everyone!
Btw...going to finish packing tonight and be done so I can relax :bounce:
See you all on Saturday!

I will try to chime in on this one..but maybe someone else that knows more about it can help you out as well:)

AS far as breakfast goes...yes you can go eat at topsiders at what ever time you would like ( i am sure that they start serving pretty early), they serve a full breakfast buffet , you can either eat it there or take it back to your room..

AS far as luggage goes, I am pretty sure that if you want to take it off yourself you can, not for sure what time disembarkation starts but I think it is fairly early, you may want to get down there earlier then stated, as I know that the disembarkation line can get pretty long, although we have never had to wait in line to get off, (we are usually some of the last to leave) I have seen how long the line can get ;)

Hopefully someone who has left early can help you out more...
:)

Just a couple of more days and we will be in Florida! Anyone know what the water temps usually are in FL this time of year? We are thinking of hanging out at the beach the extra day we are there with our friend. The girls love playing in the sand!!!

Our last cruise we didn't even eat breakfast on the ship. They do disembark in "areas", by the time we got up (you have to pack the night before and put your bags out) it was time to leave and we drove 8 hours home that day. Be sure to do your homework on the Space Center. There's a cheesy place that you think is it before you get there then when you get in you realize it's a cheesy. We got hoodwinked one shuttle launch and were miles and miles away.

Just checking, my last FE list has 12 cabins, right?

So who else it packed and ready to go?

See y'all at the sail away party!

EEEKK IM GOING TO DISNEY WORLD TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2:cool1::banana::banana: Nope not excited here. At work right now finishing up the last 2.5 hours(whos counting?) I will try and pop in and say hello in the AM if not Safe travels everyone and see you all on board in a few days!!

Thank you and to toverly! That helps!

Just a QUICK pop in to say, "See Ya Real Soon". Have a safe trip everyone. I think the time is 3PM right before the life boat drill in PL right? I am sure Lady Story will check and pop on wheen she gets to the hotel, so let us know. I guess I will see you at the terminal too.

As far as the last day. Yes, you can go to Topsiders for a full breakfast starting at 5:30 AM the last morning. Then you can head off the ship as soon as it clears customs. I would not tote my luggage though. It will just be sitting downstairs waiting for you. You place it out the night before and then the "dogs" sniff it that morning before clearance. That way you would have gone through the luggage clearing and you grab your stuff and off you go. We can explain better on the ship.

Have a safe trip everyone. It will be my last check in until Florida.....:thumbsup2

The weather in Florida is awesome!!! Can't wait to meet up in the ship! Have a safe trip everyone.

Driving to KCI (not while I'm typing of course). We will be in Florida tomorrow. We wish everyone safe travels and look forward to meeting everyone.

We are headed home after a MAGICAL cruise. We had a great time and want to thank everyone for the fabulous FE gifts. My girls had a great time rushing back to the room to check for any new goodies! I hope everyone makes it back home safely.

Hope everyone had a Magical Cruise! I know we did...except for the lil on getting sick on the floor in Parrot Cay and a flood in our room after Castaway:scared1: (which was handled very poorly:confused3). Did not let those things detour us from having a great vacation! Thanks everyone for the great FE gifts. Bryanna had a blast checking it constantly for "prizes". Hope everyone enjoyed there ornaments and bracelets/charms. Forgot to put a name on them. Must say we had an amazing time in Cozumel....favorite port of all times to this point!!
