Yeah, John and I used to joke that he was like Stich when he was little, so I thought it was fitting.
I have been on longer cruises in the past (When I was younger) but none of my guys have! I know they are going to love it! (SSHHH this is a secret...We are going to surprise our little Stich and celebrate his birthday a little early on the ship! He turn 10 on March 20!!)

Well, something else in common! My older son will be turning 12 the day we board.

Michelle's Daughter will be celebrating a Birthday that day too; if I am not mistaken. Hey Michelle your DD has a Birthday Buddy.

Sorry about that...I had a hard time figuring out my signature at first at any rate we are from Forest Lake!! About 30-40 minutes North of the MOA! It will just be myself (Michelle) DH (John), 15yr old DS (Kayle) and 9yr old DS (Aaron)! This will be our 2nd DCL cruise and first 7 nighter!

So not very far from us. I have co-workers who live in Wyoming up that way. What day are you guys leaving? Are you staying somewhere the days/night(s) before? We do not get our air usually until after Christmas in January. The rates come down then. Do you guys travel Delta lmao: what else is there from her right?)

Hi Everyone, is it too late to be on a Fish Extender list? I just moved our Oct 2011 cruise to this cruise. It is a 50th birthday present to me. (early). There are 3 of us DH 54, Me 50 and DS 12. Love to join, just let me know.

I do not know if they have decided to do one or not. I know some here including myself do not take part in them as it is too much more to try to pack and too much running around. Someone else can let you know what the final decision was. There is also still time to determine it.
Well all is well here. Off work for the next few days. I will post more after I get the list.

Wanted to chime in about the FE (fish extenders).

For the newbies: this is a helpful thread about what a fish extender is (a great picture of one!) and what it's for. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1219607&highlight=fish+extender (EEK! It's 80+ pages, but scroll through - don't read everything!)

Basically - you can buy or make one of these; and then you exchange gifts with others on your cruise through the FE's. Could be anything like candy or little disney related things, stuff from your hometown/state, etc. Kinda like a secret santa exchange.

Some of us have never done them (me!) and would rather not do it this cruise either - because, like Tink said, I'd rather not have to worry about packing and bringing all the extra stuff. And I know me - if my kids got a great FE gift, I'd feel like whatever I brought was completely inadequate and feel like I wasn't being fair to everyone else's kids. (call me crazy - you'd be right!)

HOWEVER - if someone else wants to organize a FE "sub" group of our group, there is NO reason not to do that. Just speak up (Amanda?? ) and those who want to opt in can, but should feel no pressure one way or the other.

How does that sound?!?!?

I am Finally back!!!!! We had to take our computer in for a total overhaul and they ended up having to pretty much erase everything...including my DISbaords password, I had a heck of a time trying to get it back, but finally got it today, so here I am!!!!
So thought I would just check in with a "Happy Wednesday" to all my fellow cruisers

Even though I do realize that Emily just turned 17... when I see that number on paper behind her name, it seems impossible! my little girl is growing up TOOO FAST!!

Well...we here in Western Nebraska are Unfortunately one of the MILLIONS of people that have had the misfortune of encountering this wind!

OMG if we lived near water I think it would be called a Hurricane!!!!!

BRENDA, We've had some of the winds here too. The worst was Tuesday night, according to Russell. I, fortunately, slept through it!!!!

Kids do grow up WAY TOO FAST!!!! Emily didn't have her driver's license yet on our last cruise, did she???? Has she started thinking about colleges yet???

This week hasn't been quite so busy for me so I've been scanning pictures for Kristin and Drew's wedding video and working on the invitation list. GOOD TIMES!!!!

Thanks Lady Story for that Spread Sheet. I now hav to go back through the thread and place names with post. For some reeason I have not been able to keep up with whom is who. (No comment please).... Am I getting old or just confused... Well this morning DD asked me if "my mind was slipping" because for some reason I could not think of the word "remote". So maybe it is just the brain! Thanks even more so for being "The keeper of the list." Hey, I heard BJ was coming back to D.C. just for you.... Didn't know your "inside seat connection" was actually in on the secret plan did you? The concert is "Just For You." As soon as I read that ysterday, I then got an e-mail alert of the concert. We all know he is coming just to sing to you....

Hey have you heard anything from our Little Girl's Family that way. Have they did any other follow-up. A group of us went over the first of school, because we knew that would be a hard time for her. To not be able to put her on the bus. Keep them in your prayers. Congratulations on the Run/race. What is a marathon actually considered? Can you tell the Tink family does not run? All of you guys look amazing.

ALL~ I guess we can get ready to get Pirate Outfits on Monday... Even though DS told me "There is noooo way he is dressing as a Pirate this cruise"! I tell you teenagers....
I have done some shopping but not nearly what I need to buy..... I need to hit the racks again. Do not tell my DH though. He thinks we have everything we need. I have decided only to take 3 pairs of shoes this time. Paying for luggage sucks; unless we go SWA this time.

TINK--Haven't heard anything about your angel's family here in mid-MO. That is so sad.

Ya know, I don't know if it's a run or a race either. For us, I guess its a run as we have no chance of winning. Russell didn't think he'd ever run/walk long distances either so don't ever say never.

What's everyone's plans for the weekend? Going to Kansas City tomorrow to start Christmas shopping with my DIL and then Sunday afternoon, Russell and I have another long training run/walk. At least its supposed to be warmer again on Sunday!!!! BRRRRR! It's chilly in Missouri today!!!!

Hope everyone is having a great fall! I know it's getting close to the 90 day mark and have been trying to pin down my husband input on excursions. Right now all his is interested in is making sure we get our couple massage scheduled.

I wanted to post and say Hi to you all. We've took advantage of the KSF on this cruise, it is our Spring Break. This is our 9th Disney Cruise. Sailing with me is DH and my 2 DDs 6 and 7. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all while counting down!

We got a Disney fix this morning! Disney Live! was downtown and we surprised the girls with it. They had a great time and weren't quite sure what was going on! It was a cute show, but we are SO ready for vacation!

At least the next couple of months should go faily quickly.
