We usually go during the peak times to WDW and have our commando strategies to see what we want with minimal waits.

DH and I will be going with another couple for the Princess Half marathon in a couple of months. I'm trying to plan. It looks like the crowd level is going to be "low" - would you agree? What exactly does that mean? I haven't planned for a trip without thinking of major crowds in a while.

Fantasmic! is only twice that week on separate nights. I booked the dinner package, but do we really need it?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks!

if you go at peak times normally you will likly find the first couple weeks of march very managable.it wont be a slow as sept or first two weeks of december but you should find it to your liking. just be careful the weekends will be alot more crowded than the weekdays have a great trip.i'll be there from march 3 to the 9th:)

Spring breaks will start in March and go through April. It should be moderate to low crowds since you are going at the beginning.

this is great news as we will be there March 7-11!! hoping for warm weather and short lines!! :)

Lucky for you, the 12th is your last day because March 12-16, Disney World is hosting hundreds of cheerleaders who are competing in the UCA Allstar Nationals Competition...and lots of them stay days longer. I know this because March 13 starts my spring break...and I'm always surrounded by cheerleaders and their families in addition to everyone else on spring break.

We will be there March 5 - March 12! :cool1: Crowd Calender says the bigger crowds over the weekend but it looks great for the week!!

Mar. 6-10 here.
I have to say I'm a little bit disappointed. I thought crowds would be very low since I assumed most school-aged children would have spring break late March/early April. Oh well. I've been during just about any time of the year and crowds are no match for the magic of Disney!
