Sorry it took so long to post. DH great-aunt passed away. She was almost 100 and a true southern "lady".

The cast of characters:
Me 33
DH 38
DS 12 (the one who "gets" it)
DD 9 (aka "The Girl")

Mickey woke me up at 8:00 and the coffee was there at the same time. Ahhhh, perfect! I had also ordered some things for the kids and fresh fruit. I put the fruit and some donuts in ziplocs and put them in the beach bag. They would want snacks later. Something about the beach air just makes you so HUNGRY. I had packed the beach bag last night, so all they had to do was wake up and put on their suits.
We went up top for breakfast again and I ate my fill of Mickey waffles. It was windy and overcast so I was a little worried. I must say that Castaway Cay is paradise! It's as close as we could get to Eden here on earth. I am so jealous of the people that get to work/live here. I know it's hard work, but you're living on an island!
We went down to deck 1 and DH says, "I have to go back to room real fast." Now, I know that look on his face, it won't be real fast. So, I told him to go ahead and we would meet him at the post office. I got a wonderful picture of the kids with the Wonder behind them. They were ready to hit the water! DH showed up 20 minutes later and we were off!
There are many photo ops along the way to the beach and I suggest you take every one of them. Once you get the salt water in your hair, the pictures just aren't as good. We stopped in She Sells and the kids just had to have one of the squirting fans. I thought $17.00 was a little high, but it turned out to be my new best friend! Very worth it. DH said we could stop later for souveniers. Take my advice here, buy it when you see it. You may not make it back and what you want may be gone.
We went to Gil's for our snorkel stuff and I handed the CM my certificate that I had won the night before and my pre-paid tickets. He was very confused. It was at this time I also realized that they had charged me adult price for DS 12. This took awhile. CM told me just to see a life guard about refunding two of the snorkel rentals and floats. Okay, they're on a chair in the middle of the beach and you're in a hut with phones. Whatever. I'll take care of it on the ship at Guest Services.
We finally made it to the beach and found some lounge chairs right under a palm tree. It was also right behind the Conched Out Bar. Perfect.
The kids and DH took off to the water while I set us up. The water was so clear and beautiful. I didn't think it was really that color. I didn't see alot of people in the water, and I found out why. IT IS FREEZING! How can they swim in this? Oh yeah, their kids.
We had scheduled parasailing at 11:00, so I spread out on my lounge chair and soaked up the sun! It felt great. I had the whole day planned. We would parasail, eat lunch, and have the rest of the day to relax and maybe go for a bike ride. Well, that went out the window.
I gathered the kids out of the water and we headed all the way back to Marge's Barges just to find out that they had canceled the parasailing because of the wind, but we could try again at 2:00. FYI, there is an info booth right after She Sells and you can ask them if everything is running on schedule. So, back to the beach.
We went to the bar and I got my first taste of heaven in the form of a Konk Kooler. Wow! We decided to go ahead and eat lunch which was delicious! DH said the lobster burgers were terrific and DS loved the ribs. DD loved the fact that there was a cat wondering around looking for scraps. Boy did she find the right person!
DS went to the kids club for some activities and DD went back to the water. I went back to my chair. Another Konk Kooler and my spray fan...all is good in the world. DD said she may want to try the kids club again later. Okay! Let's look at the navigator and you just tell me what you want to do. Well, the Wacky Water Relay looks fun....but it's at 2:15. We're parasailing at 2:00. Figures!
DS was dissappointed that we didn't get to go on the bike ride, but he loved the Get Soaked Games. We headed back to Marge's Barges and got in the little boat for parasailing. Now, this would be a good time to tell you about Bonine and Dramamine. We were fine on the Wonder, but this little boat is bouncing everywhere. DD and I started feeling a little green. But we are troopers and we're not missing this. It was worth every penny! I will tell you that I am a chicken at heart, and being in the air was better than being on the boat! DD was upset that she didn't see any dolphins, but loved it.
It was 3:00 when we hit land again and DD and I still felt "funny" so we headed back to the ship and ordered "2nd lunch" from room service. DS said he felt like the hobbits from Lord of the Rings. 1st lunch, 2nd lunch, dessert, snack, 1st dinner, etc. I love that boy!
Tonights show was Disney Dreams, but I had never seen a sunset at sea. So I made the painful decision to miss the show. DD wanted to have freedom like her brother to walk around, so she finally went back to the Lab. DH and I had a very nice time walking on deck and watching the sunset. It was beautiful. We also got to watch the full moon come up. Ahhhhhhhh...........
Dinner tonight was in Triton's. I went to Guest Services and paid for the tips, and wrote each person a special "thank you" on the envelope. I was a little teary going in to dinner knowing that this would be my last night. Triton's is beautiful. Can I have those lights in my house. It's supposed to look like you are under the lilly pads. We were having a very nice time talking with our table mates when the kids asked Andre if they could eat real fast so they could leave. He looked at DD and said you bet! They took two bites and they were gone. I told DH that we could just get them room service later. Our tablemates had a blank look on their face. They didn't know about room service! "You mean I could have had coffee delivered first thing in the morning?" Oh she was mad! I told her to just turn to page 69 in the book in your room for the menu. Well, it was so cute. They ordered their dessert to go and loaded up the kids to go order room service.
The kids met us back at Triton's before we left. (2nd dessert took longer) They were tired and wanted to just go back to the room and relax. By the way, DD said she had a wonderful time and wished she had gone to the Lab more often. She promised that on our next cruise that she would not be so shy. I made DH go with me to the Atrium to see all the characters say farewell. It is a wonderful photo op.
The kids were safe in bed so I wanted to go to the 70s Disco Party. But, DH was tired so we went to shutters to get the rest of my photos. They had taken some great ones of the kids on the beach. We then headed back to the room.
I had packed the suitcases before dinner and they were already in the hall. I had all our carry bags packed tight. I was the last one to go to sleep. I just couldn't believe this was my last night and I was sitting in bed. Oh well, I'll be back.
Off to sleep......................................

Sorry that was so long. I'll post again soon with some tips, things I forgot to mention, and the ease of disembarking.
