March 4, 2007 Wonder - Anyone Else?

Eager,

In defense of your husband, if I had nothing better to do I probably wouldn't be listening to my wife, either, about vacation. Not saying it's right, just being honest:confused3

Oh ho ho Frazzledad now you have made me  . I would love to have your wife's e-mail id and forward her this :lmao: .

Ladies you gotta say anything in my defense.

You are in deep trouble now Mr.Frazzledad.:dance3:

OHHHHHHHHHHHH, I know. My testosterone is now showing. I'm Just trying to be honest. I have become quite soft, since I've been stuck home for the last 5 months. (At least my buddies have told me as much). Just trying to show a "Tough Guy" image. It has been awhile. But, alas, it is the truth:sad2:

happy anniversary frazzledad and frazzlemom, congrats to you.i was able to find the hidden mickey in your snow covered car picture though:cool1: we do miss the snow here in middle tn,previously from ny.we had a 1 inch dusting here today and school was closed, probaly delayed in morning? enjoy your evening. wayne

Congrats MEONE2, I didn't even realize that until you pointed it out.:woohoo: That is actually my mothers car ( who is vacationing in Orlando/ WDW right now) AND not missing CNY at all.

Not a chance, Eager. The nice big anniversary diamond ring has negated any and all female influence for the remaining of the night. However, if she reads this tomorrow, I can alwasy Plead ingnorance.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Help me !!!!!

In the evening I was going through the Disney Cruise Guide and my husband had just finished his "work from home". I was as usual babbling something about the cruise. He picked up the guide and while going through it asks me,"are we going on a 3 day or a 4 day cruise?"
Should I be amused or angry?
Such a contrast -me and him on tihs.

Doodlesmommy,I just noticed you are from Baltimore ,Md. My in-laws live in Germantown and my brother in law is a doctor in Baltimore hospital.
In December he took us to Baltimore harbor and we just fell in love with the place.Plan to visit it often this summer. We regret that we had been going past it often and never visited it.

I just had to ask my husband if we were going on a 3 or 4 night cruise. "His answer, how the **ll do I know and what do I care?" :sad2: Now that sounds really bad, but he did follow it up with the statement that I plan everything out so much he doesn't have to think about anything. He will just worry about packing the night before (knowing I have all his important clothes, swimsuits, dress clothes, pirate costume) already packed and all he has to do is carry the luggage - a little and take care of the DD - a lot. She is a daddy's girl (or is it that he is still a child - I shouldn't have said that should I).

By the way, he is a great guy, I just have to keep him in place by giving him a hard time.

Frazzledad, you and my husband need to get together and talk football, hunting and eat game meat (his preference is elk or bear) and lobster and crab. He will be perfectly happy and not have to move at all. Oh, I forgot the Corona.

I just swam 1/2 mile in laps (that is 70 laps in the pool I swim in) tonight with only a few short breaks. Let's see, 3 months ago, I would get in 30 laps with a lot of long breaks in the same amount of time. :cheer2:

O.K., o.k., I know I am bragging and it is not exceptional. But for an old, fat lady like me, that is really good.

Linda

Hey Linda,

Any guy that likes game meat, Corona, Crab/Lobster and Football (which is pretty much every guy I know) Is allright with Me. I'm thinking that this Cruise is going to be awesome. 18 days and I can't wait.

Frazzledad, My husband is still trying to figure out what size fishing pole and line he needs to fish of the cruise boat :sad2:

11 days for us, we do the land thing first.

Eagercruiser; don't feel bad. While I was putting my make-up on this morning my husband asked me where we were going on our cruise. LOL!! I just starred at him like, seriously? He said he had to fill out paperwork at the office to say where he was going and didn't know. I'd probably be upset with him but he is lovingly standing in 18 degree weather shoveling off my car and warming it up for me right now. You gotta love these guys. I bet if you asked him which resort we were staying at he'd get a deer caught in the headlights look. LOL!! I doubt he has listened to any of my babbling since I booked this trip in Oct. It probably sounds a lot like charlie brown's teacher to him when I talk about this trip.

Linda. Try this link. Let me know if it doesn't work. I want you to read it. It shead a lot of light on the system for me and really put me at ease. I hope you are able to view it. If all else fails, email me and I'll give you my phone ## and I can talk you through it. This thread is located at:

That's kind of how I reacted.Just looked at him in amusement and I had my DDs to back me up.That's the irony of it.We still love our men.The only thing they gotta realise is that the babbling is essential for us female species to live.

But you still not meet me on the cruise Frazzledad.I am sure the diamond ring hangover would have gotten over by that time. And if I meet your wife you better have another bigger ring ready for her.

Linda,my DH would love to sit with your husband.I only feed him chicken, fish and shrimps(I eat only that) in meat category and he has to look elsewhere for steaks,lobsters...... He loves football too but can't say the same about corona. He is into margarita's and wine.

One question just came up in my mind. How did everyone choose their usernames for this forum.Frazzledad, doodlesmommy, michellepooh and the most secretive of all RPLMC. Can I ask the secret behind it Linda?

Uh oh. This board is turning ugly for FD. Doug.... Little help????

By the way, Eager. My wife knows I'm a clown. You wouldn't be telling her anything new. She just views me as a necessary evil:laughing:

My user name is nothing fun, I am not creative. It is just the precuser to our email and the user name I use on pretty much everything. My husband's name is Rich Paul C. and my name is Linda M. C., just our initials - nothing fun.

My husband will do wine also. He loves red wines. He is not a margarita drinker, he calls those "phoo-phoo" drinks and thinks only women should drink those, but I know a lot of men who drink that kind of stuff.

See now if I do the cooking (which is not very often), it is only chicken in the George Foreman grill or shrimp. Oh, I do make a killer meatloaf, but we were eating that so much it has been banned from the house for a year. That's o.k. I was also tired of it.

My DH is the cook and I am the cleaner. I will NOT let him touch the laundry and when he cleans anything in the house (which is about once every 10 years) it isn't as good as I will like it. Now for all you men, I said, "not as good as I like it", that does not mean it is not o.k., it is just not the way I like it, therefore I choose (again the word choose, not have to) to do the cleaning myself.

I am sure my DH does not have the slightest clue which resort we are staying in. He only knows the airline that we are flying because we have coupons for free drinks and he was the one that did the flying on SWA to earn these coupons.

I pick up my docs in 3 hours :yay:

Hate to tell you FD, that is the way most women view their men :lmao: But, it sounds like we love them anyways :hippie:

I found it, thanks a lot. Makes me feel soooo much better. I was thinking of picking up my luggage and transferring to ME myself. Not going to mess with it, sounds like a great system.

Sorry Frazzleddad, since we are so close to departure my lovely DW has been following this thread also. I am unable to come to your defense, as defensible as your position is, knowing that she will be reading this. Oh oh, did I just come to your defense.

Any way, my sister-in-law and her family still have not received luggage tags... I am wondering if it is because they have no completed the on-line check-in on the DCL site. They are still waiting for thier passports to arrive. Anyone else not registered on-line who has received their luggage tags and transfers?

Okay now this is getting out of hand.Too bad you can talk about it among yourselves but cannot say it to your better halves :dance3: .We are starting to sound like a bunch of kids.

Good news from my side.We have been upgraded from cat.12 to cat.10 and now to cat. 9 . I hope they don't change it no more as the room has good reviews on trip reports.

I haven't received my travel docs.Disney told they were mailed yesterday to Costco and they(costco) said they will send them overnight once they receive them. I had filled the online check in forms long back except for payment authorization form which I completed today.

Eager, this is all in fun. I hope you are not taking me seriously. If this is really bothering you then I will stop.

I'm raising the white flag.
