March 3, Rose&Crown Happy Hour - Be There!

A group if Disney lovers will be meeting at the Rose&Crown on March 3 at 3 pm and all interested DISers are cordially invited. Tim/Hawk and us got together in 2006 with several others and a great time was had by all. We'll be joined by 2 other parties this year and we're hoping to meet others. Tim and Lori and Mary and I are the only ones who know each other so don't be concerned that you'll be strangers crashing a private party, we're all friends here and we'd love to meet you all. I will be there from Feb 27 -March 2nd. I was really bummed to read the following on Mouseplanet today. You may want to call and verify?? Maybe just the Restaurant is closed and not the bar?

"Rose & Crown Dining Room – closes for refurbishment from February 21 through March 14. "

I e-mailed Disney Guest Relations a few months back concerning this and it's just a kitchen rehab, the pub will be open. On another rehab note, Teppanyaki was supposed to be closed for an extended period, our visit included, but they changed the schedule and we were able to book an early March seating.

Thanks for the info. That is great news even though I will be missing you guys by one day. I'll be there for business that week, so its not listed in my signature as my normal vacations are. Great! My daughter, SIL and GC will be at PoP from Feb. 24 - March 2, but they'll be gone by the time of our get together on Sat. We check in at the BoardWalk on Feb. 28. See you there.

I remember, you know someone in management there, right? Around that time is when Disney sent me the e-mail about it being a kitchen only rehab.
