Yes, but if it is 3:00 AM for us West Coasters, isn't it 6:00 AM and not a big deal to you East Coast Early Birds?mark_story said:Thanks to everyone both for the birthday wishes and the pixie dust for the sale of our house. Both went off without a hitch.

P.S. - So who's getting up at 3AM a week from Sunday to make online reservations?
alanapapa said:So who all will be celebrating a B-day or Anniv while we are cruising? Our DD7 will have her 8th on the Monday and we will celebrate DD12's 13th the last day (Her B-day is 24th of Mar), and Caropooh & I were wondering who else will have a celebration onboard.
Disneybridein2k3 said:Hello everyone! The Mogle family checking in....better late than never, right??? This cruise is a surprise (shhh!) for our DD12's 13th birthday (actual DOB is 3/11 - cruise ends 3/10 so we will spend the night and go to Epcot for the 11th. We aren't quite sure yet how we will be telling her about the cruise... She will miss 6 days of school -- I'm trying to decide when to leave. I don't want to take the chance of missing the flight if we leave Saturday morning (MD - could still snow in March) but I hate to have DD miss yet another day of school. So then I thought of a late Friday night flight but hate to pay for transportation to a hotel and then again pay for transportation to the Port in the morning. What to do?????

Just wanted to throw that out there -- no sense in paying Shutters to have your pics burned to a disk when I can do it for free, right??? Just remember to bring the usb cord that came with your camera so we can hook it up!

Johnna_Story said:Welcome Stacy - aka my new best friend!!! What a nice offer to burn everyone's pix to a disc. You're so cool.I'm pretty sure we'll bring our computer too and Mark can do it, but if not, count on one disc set aside for the Storys. Hope you've caught up on all the group plans for meeting - both pre-cruise in Port Canaveral and on board, and Palo brunch(es) and whatever else we come up with between now and then.

We're also coming from MD and planning ahead to come on Thurs to extend our vacation just a bit. So for advice - I suggest you come down on Friday at the latest (who needs the stress of weather or airport or other delays on the day of the trip??). As for lodging/transportation, you should probably just price out the Orlando Hyatt and DCL transport for Sat. am, or renting a car and driving to PC (depending on how late your flight gets in). The Radisson has free transport, and I'm sure other hotels do too, or if not, it's minimal to pay Art's Taxi (like $3/pp) to the port. Of if you've rented a car, you can return the car to Budget (or whomever) most of whom provide free transportation to the port once you've returned the car. So you have a lot of options.
Tell me where is Smithburg MD in relation to DC? Maybe we can have a pre-cruise meet before we leave to compare tasting of all our favorite tropical drinks or something??![]()

Hi Welcome to the Dis. I have a feeling though you are in the wrong thread. When are you going on your cruise? Let your servers know what day your DD's birthday is and I am sure they will make it quite special.rpclmc said:Hi. New to this. Actually, new to all of it. Just booked our first cruise (well actaully 3 days land, 4 days cruise). My daughter will be turning 8 on the cruise. I welcome any advise (of any kind) and suggestions of how to make it a special day on the cruise.
