Congratulations on the move!
Hi, Everyone I know I haven't been on much. My husband left for Iraq yesterday and we spent the whole summer trying to spent as much time as possible as a family. This will be his last tour, when he return in mid Jan. he will start is retirement processing :)! Asking for all your prayers for his safety! I got him to apply for his passport before he left just to make sure he would have it in time for the cruise. Also for the passed year I've been working on opening a franchise restaurant and I think I finaly sign the lease for my location on tomorrow. I'll have to open the restuarant with out him :(. I hate that he has to miss it. Also, I'm a lot nervous about opening in hopefully Dec and leaving for a week in March for the cruise but I have too! I need this vacation! I'm just praying to have employee I can trust!

Okay, enough about my drama! When is the Palo brunch being planned? Also, for the pirate night do the kids also go?

What's the name of the restaurant? Or can't you say until the paper are all signed?

pixiedust: pixiedust: For your DH in Iraq (Marine Major right?) and more pixiedust: pixiedust: for you and the GO.

Okay you people with great imagination, do we need a name for our group? Reading some of the trip reports and the Cruise meets with the cute names got me thinking (which unlike Tigger is NOT something I do best). So how about it, can somebody come up with something??

Okay here is our contribution to the name pool:

"The Eastern Cruisers :sail: "

DD's Idea:
"The Eastern Ears :earsboy:"

OR.....
"Earning our Eastern Ears"

DH's Idea:
"The Magic Cruisers"

Not real creative, but it's the best we have come up with .. we'll keep thinking...

angelabielanin,

Our collective prayers and a hefty bag full of pixie dust will keep your husband safe and saound in Iraq - then we'll all celebrate together in March. :grouphug:

Thank you sooooo much for the prayers and pixie dust! DH made it there safe and I get a call once a day for about 10 min and he has e-mail which helps a lot! The name of the Restaruant is New York New York Fresh Deli the website is www.nynyfreshdeli.com. I still haven't signed the lease maybe Tuesday. I have rights for the whole state of Arkansas and I plan to open several. I'm in the process of hiring a manager so that I can still go on a cruise. Also, I used to have the greatest boss ever a MD and he took me on my first cruise so I've been brain stroming oh no :) and I was think....I'm going to find out which NY NY deli had the highest sells its first year and I'm going to challenge my crew to beat it and if they do I'll take them on a cruise...Half the crew with me and half the crew with the other manager. I can't take them on a Disney cruise yet but a cheap cruise out of Galveston, TX...What do you think? I'm looking so forward to meeting all of you! How many do we have going so far?

Their site looks great. I can't wait until the one in Seattle opens to try it out.

As to your idea...I think you would have a crew that would do ANYTHING for you if you were able to take them on a cruise, even a short two or three hour dinner cruise.

Best of luck,

Andie,
I just saw the ad for your site and browsed through it. It looks great. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 What a great collection you have.

Cruise Crates is the name, try googling.I can't post even expanding it out.

Now I don't know if I should buy something from you, from Shirley, or from both? :confused3 :confused3 Probably both of you.

Hey everyone. To answer the question about cruisers on this link - I have 68 people accounted for.

It'd be great to have a New York Subs in Enfield, CT! We've got plenty of fast food but I'd love something new.

Hope everyone is well. Today I spoke with a gal who just got back from a Bahamian cruise on another line. She had a great time but was disappointed with the number of children. I puffed myself up and bragged that DCL never seems to flood itself with children and I'm only acutely aware of them when I go to the kiddie pool. Which, I no longer have to do unless I'm walking through. hee hee hee.

I would do just about anything for a DCL desert right now - especially my Mickey Bar!!! :mickeybar

Hi everyone!!
68 and growing!! We may take over the Magic!!
Thanks alanapapa for viewing the website!! :cool1: I am in the process of a new site design. (I'm not able to mention my site on the Dis, was told it was against posting regs!!Considered advertising, if I place my site name in the signature line it is bleeped out!!! :) ) My google ad words are working!! You found it!!
Short of rambling on and on, this is how it came about....I was an RN in a local hospital here in NJ. In 2003 I went to Philly where all the large hospitals are and had my now three year old son.During the c-section, they cut my bladder in half. :teeth:Interns :guilty: NEVER go to the hospital in JULY, on a weekend, that's when all the students start, I should have known better, I was in a teaching hospital!!) I some how lived through it , but I had sustained numerous injuries, including memory loss, unable to return to my position.
Our cruise in March of 2006 was my wish, if I got through this ordeal. When I made it to the ship I realized how much I had not brought with me!! We ran around like nuts the week prior to the cruise and we still didn't have what we needed, including the wine! :thumbsup2 hence the cruise basket business was born. It keeps me busy as well, considering how crazy it could get in the hospital and that was what I was used to..!!
Now this cruise I feel much better and I am ready to do the things I had missed on the Magic the last time!! Really looking forward to seeing and meeting everyone at the Dis meet in 8022!!!

HI to all, Hope everyone is having a good weekend :)

I just read something that I have not yet seen, so thought I'd pass it onto everyone, maybe this is nothing new, but it is the first time I have read about it:

It read as follows:
All guest who are traveling in 2007 are required to provide their passport #'s to Disney Cruise Line at least 90 says prior to sail date.

So that would put us at the first part of Dec., I'm sure most of you already have your passports, unlike us, who have yet to get one. Our first and only cruise was the 3 day, on the Wonder, and you weren't required to have a passport then.

Guess I better not put it off too much longer.

Gosh Indea, with 68 Diser's (and growing) your stateroom is going to be busting at the seams :rotfl: Are you sure you're going to want us all in there????
I'm glad you are feeling better, & hope that this cruise will be more relaxing for you & your family...Part of the fun of a trip is the anticipation and planning, which you obviously will have plenty of time for this time around :)

Brenda

I guess I must have been the only one who did not know about having to provide Disney with a passport number 3 months before the cruise.... Is this something that has always been required??? None the less, I'm glad I know about it now, I was thinking that I would just get our passports after the first of the year.. But now I'm thinking that I'd better get my rear in gear and take care of that here pretty soon...

Our thread has been pretty quite, hope everyone is doing o.k. :)

Brenda

Thanks for the heads up as well...I need to get it in gear, I was going to wait, but now I'll need to do this soon. The first week in Dec. will be here in no time. It is tough to part with the extra $400.00 needed for passports for a family of four ( oh no, spa cash! Dreaming of the rain forrest room :cloud9: )
Andie :sunny:

I just booked a room at the Raddison for the night before the cruise, just curious where everybody else is staying, and who else is staying at the Raddison??? At first, I thought we would stay close to the airport, but now I'm thinking that it would be better to drive the 50 mile drive the day before, instead of Sat. morning.. (renting from Budget)

I know that we have had post already talking about this, but I forget who's staying where, and plus.... our post was in need of a bump :)

Brenda :wave2:

Hi ejkjmom!
Were staying at Ron Jon with RCI Points,we have the whole week before booked but DH has to work until Thursday.Flying down Friday Am. :) Andie

Hi all - we're staying at the Residence Inn (on points for free!) but we've stayed at the Radisson and it was nice. I totally agree with driving down the day before - PC is a nice little area and there's some great restaurants. You can get any last minute stuff you either forgot or didn't want to carry, not to mention if you want to bring your own wine or beverages on board. :drinking1 Plus you can just relax in the morning before heading to the port. There was some chatter earlier in this thread of trying to have a pre-meet either at the Radisson or some local hotel for whoever's in town the night before. We should stir up that conversation again in January/Feb when plans are more finalized. :drive:

Okay - that smilie is not relevant, but I like it! :goodvibes
