welcome aboard........for now..............

Wont be too hard to keep up at the moment, since i am the only one talking..
:cool1::rotfl2::cool1:

Well, been a while, way too busy lately. Also started a diet and working out, I have come to realize I really hate the gym!!!

Still booked on this cruise still unsure what we want to do. Just talked to some friends and they were on a cruise this year (RC not Disney) and they said the weather was not too good, very rough seas they even rolled out of bed! Just goes to show that the weather can be good or bad at any time.

I will try to log on more often, need to catch up on everything.

I dont know if i can sail on a DISNEY CRUISE WITHOUT MORE DISSERS....

HEY DISSERS......
JOIN IN!!!!!

WE need more dissers on this cruise!!!!!!!!!!

still so far behind on this board, I can not believe we have not had anymore join our thread?

So what do you think about the new iteneraries that were announced? Did anyone book anything? We have not, would love to book an Alaskan cruise but think I will wait to hear how they go this year. Hopefully some tripr reports are written!

Would love to do the Hawaii cruise also because of the 15 days, but cannot afford that one at all!!!

Well I think I am off to the gym....this dieting/working out is getting old, but I cannot stop now....Think Skinny!!!

\I would have done the Hawaii cruise...
I actually even checked into it but THERE ARE NO SPOTS LEFT THROUGH DISNEY.
I did see some spot left through vacations to go....But it is a balcony and def could not afford the balcony for that cruise.

Other than that i do not care for the nee iteneraries.

Never wanted to do Alaska even though my DH does, Not too interested in the one leaving from New York or Texas.:confused3

I have been trying to get in shape too i have lost 12.5 pounds but cant seem to get past that.

:cool1:
Dare I say I am joining your thread?!
I just read through all 6 pages, and you two sure are having a good time!

My name is Taryn and I just switched from a Feb. 2012 cruise to this one. I am going to do the Princess half marathon at the end of Feb. followed by a few days at the world and then end with this cruise!

It will be:
Me (35), DH (38), DD (6 when we sail), DD (4 when we sail), and my mom (60 something). She may or may not bring a friend along.

This will be our first Disney cruise, so I'm super excited!

YIPEE SKIPPY!!!!

We have another DISSER!!!
WHOO HOO!!!!!

WELCOME ABOARD!!!

OMG

A first timer too!!!!You are going to have such a blast and your kids too of course.

So we have def decided this is an adult ONLY cruise for us!

NO MATTER WHAT.....EVEN if there is a kids sail free cruise what evr we are NOT BRINGING THE KIDS!!!

Someone please remind me of this later when i start to cave...

Also def going to try and upgrade at port!

Welcome to our thread Taryn! Glad to have you on board...

Lynn, congrats on the weight loss:cool1:, I am almost at the same exact point 12-13 pounds and cannot seem to lose anymore...very frustrating but I will keep plugging along. I was really stupid and was jogging on the tread mill and my knees are killing me, it hurts to walk and it has been over a week!

Tomorrow my DH is taking me out of town, I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend, hopefully I can take advantage of the hot tub and soaking my poor knees.

i am fluctuating between 13 and 14 pounds

I am not eating much if any red meat only chicken and fish and much fruits and vegies.

I am to the point where i dont have many cravings for anything it has actually gotten much easier as far as eating goes.

BUT it is the excercise that i am not fully doing right yet.

I am doing a line dance class which i do every week but i have been working in my yard heavily on my days off and by the end of the day i am too tired to work out.

But at least i am not being a couch potatoe and one step at at a time.

AHHHHHHH we are going away too this weekend, my DD last cheer comp!
So we are driving our motorcycle wo orlando.

What is UP??! Wow, I didn't realize it had been so long since I logged on. Hi! Welcome to the new and prospective cruisers. Our plans have not changed, although I have to say it was a close call when I found out the Magic is going to be sailing out of... NEW YORK CITY starting next March. The only thing I love better than the Caribbean in winter is New York City in spring.

oh yeah i saw that out of NY
That would be fun!

I am having better luck now with my weight loss i am at 15 pounds now

I have joined a gym and i am enjoying it alot!!!

Wow! That's awesome!! I guess I'll have to start boot-scoot-boogeying if I want to get skinny. Haha! I froze my gym membership at the start of tennis season, then unfroze it, went to one BodyPump class and haven't been back in a month.

New York might end up being fun, but I want to read more about the itinerary (reviews from cruisers) after they start. Eight days, with most of them at sea, seems like a lot to get to the Bahamas. Plus, one of the days in port is at Port Canaveral with an all day excursion to the parks, which seems like it would be exhausting!

So I'm kind of lost without Kelli, in regards to FE's/magnet exchange, etc. On the one hand, it would be fun to do the exchanges just because Lilia was so super excited to get her little treats every day. On the other hand, there is no way I could organize it as meticulously as Kelli did in January. What do you think, Lynn?

I a not going to do the FE this tie around.

SINCE THERE WILL BE NO KIDS GOING!!

It shouldnt be that hard to organize.......
It will depend on how many rooms join in etc.........

What i would love to see is at least one or 2 well organized DIS events, whihc we really didnt have for our last cruise.

On previous cruises i have done brunch in the big roo at Palo, variety of photo ops, DIS KAROKE ( thats a blast)

And would love to do a breakfast in our pajamas.

Hi all

I m still here....

Have been working out in the Gym about 8 hours a week which REALLY cuts into my computer time

Hi everyone! :wave2: My family and I are booked on this cruise also as well as two of my friends and their families. I have only been on one other disney cruise and it was a 3 day. Have to admit, my husband isn't all that excited! When I was booking it he asked me to get a room with a verandah so he could jump off! He and my son were sick on the last cruise so they didn't get to enjoy it. I booked a room with a porthole, not a verandah due to cost and the fact I want to bring my husband back alive! I have two kids, one boy, one girl both age 10. I am really excited about this cruise. Thinking about excursions. I would like to do the trolley in Key West, Stingray City in Grand Cayman, Nachi Cocom in Cozumel and just relax at Castaway!:beach:

Was your family sea sick or flu sick?.

If sea sick there are several things you can do for that.

A port hole room is cool....nice to be able to see out.

I think it was flu sick. The day we got off the ship I got extremely sick! Not fun travelling on a plane being in that condition. It was an awful flu.
