March 27, 2010 - Spring Break with Mickey on the Magic!

We, well, when i say we i mean I got 90% of our packing done this weekend. Patrick and Walter just watched me knowing it was better to just let me do my thing!

I'm getting so excited. It just doesn't seem real that we will be on the ship in 5 days!

I feel that same way, I've been counting down for so long it doesn't weem like it will be here in a few days. I have gotten some packing done, 80% me, 100% of what college son needs from home, 85% daughters, 0% husband!

4 days!! not sure if it is a or a ! I have nothing packed, DH suit has to go to the cleaners, boys need haircuts, my roots are showing, DD and I need pedicures, the kids have projects due (one Wed, the other thursday)!! The weather here was so nice this weekend, we had a party for Brian's Birthday and absolutly nothing else got done !!

Except, I did get a new camera for the trip!! The battery charger for my laptop died Saturday, so I went to Best Buy to get a new one and DH said," aren't you getting a new camera?" I replied "you told me no", then he says"when do you ever listen to me?? get a camera, if we need one!!!" Love him, even though he can drive me nuts!!

Not sure about everyone elses kids, but mine are off the wall. The are so excited that they are like on speed!! It is worse then Christmas week!! They are probably driving their teachers crazy, I know they are driving me crazy!

Sorry for venting!! Started typing and it just flowed out!!

Yes, I too have waaaaaayyyyy too much to do in the next few days. I am trying to complete our online check in and when I type into the PDF form, it only shows (and only prints) the bottom half of what I type. Anyone else have any issues with it or anyone know what could be wrong w/ the PDF? Thanks for any help so I can get that done!!

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone...It must be working, as the outlook for my grandma is better today than yesterday. I'm still holding my breath, but I did do the online check-in thing, and have stayed up too late working on magnets. (I may not have any clothes in the suitcase, but I'll have the magnets!!)

pkmingo--When I did online check-in this evening, I didn't have any trouble. Hope yours has been resolved.

I cannot believe we leave on Friday -- Yeah!!!

I would love to get a pedicure -- maybe I will schedule myself & DD on Thurs afternoon....

We are all officially going insane! It's hard to concentrate on work or anything else for that matter except for the pool, good food, relaxtion and Conch Coolers! DH is off tomorrow so he'll be doing all the packing and then we are outta here on Thursday morning! Woo hoo! This is going to be a blast!

We are also having trouble concentrating. My son Patrick was so wound up last night! I know he can't wait to go and I know it's going to be even better than he thinks. Come on Friday, get here quickly!!!

ok everyone, remember to breath and relax, you are going on vacation.

no matter how hectic it is getting ready for this trip, its not nearly as bad as the normal stress at work this week.

tonight we are going to get haircuts... but of course, some friends from out of town are here and want to go to dinner tonight, and i just found out today that my nephew is in town and performing in a concert tonight at 8, and wants us to show up if we can.

I think we are only 25% packed now, and wanted to get it all finished tonight

My kids are so wound up .....it is like the week before Christmas!! Bobby's book report/art project is complete and ready to hand in tomorrow. Catherine's book report is written on scrap and just needs to be written neatly. Brian had decided he wants to celebrate his birthday in school before vacation, so now we have to send in a snack on Friday, but I'm thrilled that he wants dunkin munchikins!!! No cupcakes to bake!!

I still have nothing packed, but I have checked off quite a few things off the list. It will all get done. Tomorrow is my last day of work before vacation

Well today is my last day of work DS has soccer practice tonight then to bed early...we have an early flight in the morning to Orlando Did the majority of the packing last night, think we pretty much have it together See everyone real soon!

I don't think we have anything formal planned. We are just going to meet in the Promenade Lounge on Saturday at 3 pm. I don't remember that lounge being very big so I think we'll be able to find each other but if I have time maybe I'll make a little sign to help out.

I visualize the Promenade lounge as having a stage and dance floor area in the center, on the left is the bar area with seating, and on the right there is additional seating by the Internet computers. I suggest that we meet int he Center section on the dance floor.

Well, its 10:40pm here on the west coast, and we are still packing. We probably won't get much sleep before the 4:30am shuttle arrives to take us to the airport.

Woo Hoo!! Here's my update: I'm still holding my breath, but my grandmother is due to get out of the hospital tomorrow. So, what appeared imminent, is now out of the picture. (Thank you all for your good wishes and warm thoughts.)

Yippee!! So, all that means we get to go on our cruise!

I'm relieved, excited, and exhausted! Busy packaging up my FE gifts (yes, got 'em done in the nick of time, and can't wait to get them to you all!)
