How busy is March? We have never gone during a busy time and I am a little nervous.

Since I don't have a calender for 2006 yet. Do you know when Easter falls?? That will play a huge roll in the crowds.

Easter is April 16. I have been wondering how busy March is too. We will be there March 26-April 1.

I was there that week this year, which was Easter week. It was crowded, but not nearly as bad as I had expected. We never waited more than 20 minutes for anything (except Fantasmic), but we were there at opening each day, even EMH and pretty much stayed until closing. The hours were very long (MK 7-12 every day). I must admit that I had most everything planned down to the hour, but we actually got in more than I planned. I would think with Easter falling a couple of weeks later, it would not be as bad. Make your ADR's, though, there was hardly no walk-ups.

What time is wishes when the MK is opened late? My kids go to bed around 8 so I was hoping that it wasn't too late. I was hoping that attendance wouldn't be that high because of how Easter falls. What is your opinion?

I think Spectro was at 8:00 and Wishes at 9:00 and second Spectro was at 10:00. I think MK will be open until at least 11:00 due to the spring break crowds. We loved Wishes - much more than Spectro - so if the kids can stay up, I would let them. Also, keep checking the times on the official website up until you go. They extended almost all of the hours and added EMH each morning at MK (won't be an issue for you since it is not Easter) two weeks before we left.

Don't worry about it too much. I stressed and stressed because all of the resorts were booked at capacity, but it was really not that bad. My husband did give me the ultimate compliment when he said around 2:00 one day as we passed folks using our FP. He said "Wow, we sure are lucky you planned everything out, because those people are not going to get to do much at all." The plan really helped. We are going back in September, and I have not planned any early mornings, but it is supposed to be much slower at that time.

I had booked this trip thinking that it was a good time because it was past flu season and it was not as stormy around Bostos so we would be able to get out easily. Now I am told that there are a lot of spring breaks during this month so I started to stress out. My huisband does not like to go on vacations so I don't want to give him anything extra to complain about.

Has he been before? If not, he will not realize that it is not the "normal" crowd. Just impress him with your plan. My husband had no idea what to expect, as it was his first trip. He is VERY laid back, so he kept telling me not to worry, but I tend to do that a lot . If you have not already, just don't tell him it is a busy week. Have you check the UG website to see what they are predicting for that week? It is www.touringplans.com.

A lot of schools in the south keep their spring breaks that week, but many also change it with Easter each year. It was a nice time to go. We had one evening shower around 11:00, and it was hot (80's) and sunny the rest of the time.

I think you will enjoy it. Maybe this will change your DH's mind about vacations.

I just changed our dates to the beginning of March. I looked at tourplans.com and it showed that our original week had a crowd index of 10. Our new week averages about a 6. I hope that they are accurate. We usually go when the index is at 4. We will have to wait and see what happens. Thank yo all for your help!

If you plan ahead you shouldn't be bothered by crowds.
