Lee Unkrich who is the director of Toy Story 3 is going to be on our cruise. My friend Laura is his cousin and she was talking to her aunt the other day and the aunt told her that her and Lee and his family were going on a Disney cruise, so Laura, knowing that I am going asked her when - and it is the same cruise.

Don't know all the details, but I guess he is going to be speaking during the cruise.

We LOVED TS3! Rarely, and I mean RARELY am I impressed, let alone, enjoy sequels, etc. but really did love this movie. I remember thinking "I am NOT gonna cry...it's a cartoon...I'm not gonna, oh well crud...BAWL!" LOL!

That is very cool! I loved both Toy Story 2 and 3. My DH is going to be jealous! He is a huge fan of the Toy Story movies. (He laughs so loud and hard, I actually get embarrassed sitting next to him in the theater.)


I thought I read somewhere that you can take something to guest services and leave it there to have it signed by the characters. Is that true?

I read that as well. I believe you can do that (take a pillowcase, autograph book, etc.) to GS not too long after we get on the boat.

Okay, so I couldn't take it any more and spilled to the kids...LOL! I had several things I wanted to ask them about before we got too close to the trip (excursions, etc.). Good thing I did- my son isn't too keen on the snorkeling, but that's okay because we'll be off the boat and on the beach so he can chill on the beach if he wants.

Yes! We are taking a pillowcase that we got last year for our cruise (that we had to cancel). I ordered from the same gal who did our FE (gradysmommy) and she personalized it for Ally. VERY cute!

Have not seen TS3 because Ally is "too cool" for that movie. WHATEVA!!!! Jeff and I are excited to see it on the ship. Also looks like Secretariat and Tangled 3D are showing....... I need to pack some movie goodies.... I wonder if there is a microwave available anywhere if we brought popcorn???

How did you get the info about what movies are expected to be playing? We have been talking about maybe Tangled would be playing. My son was asking about it yesterday.

Is there a reason that the DIS color is lime green (my favorite BTW)? Are there other colors or theme stuff? I have read a lot about the FEs and doors and other CMs knowing that people are DISers. How would they know? Sometimes it's user Ids, but is there something else? Just wondering??

I have no idea how lime green came to be DIS colors. But I have a lime green id tag I keep on my Disney park bag and a couple of times other DISers have commented on it!

It was on the cruise board but can't find the link now!!!! It's for Jan 15th......

What I am wondering is if there is a way to save this stuff somewhere so I don't have to copy it in every time? Like a permanent signature. Thanks in advance.

Up at the top of your page click on USER CP - on the left hand side you will see EDIT SIGNATURE. This is where you can add the link to your ticker and anything else that you want to put in.
