I seem to be having technical problems here. I have writtern three posts and they were all rejected. So I am trying again and hope this one gets through.
We've only been on the one cruise but since we are going back only a year later, you can probably tell we had a fantastic time.
Tips - I don't know. Disney does it so well I think you could arrive there with nothing and still be ok!! But some that come to mind:
1) Get on the ship early (which sounds like most of you are). The buffet is open and so are the pools (even though last year it was pretty chilly at the FL port and the kids didn't stay in too long) but it is a great time to explore the ship.
2) Bring a cheap shoe rack (we bought one at the CVS pharmacy). I saw that suggestion and thought it was a waste but it was well worth it. Between pool shoes, tennis shoes, dinner shoes...they quickly added up and it was great to get them off the floor.
3) Bring a tee shirt or pillow case for signing (already mentioned but it was fun!)
4) Bring a blow dryer if you can. The ones on the ship are very weak.
If I think of any more, I will add them along.
To the question about the shows, they were great!! Last year was Hercules (which I am not sure if it will be the same or not) and I am not a fan of Hercules at all - and I loved the show. There was a ton of talent and it was funny and just great. The kids wouldn't think about missing a show. I almost hope it is the same show as last year so we can explore other things during that time - but hope it is a new show so we can enjoy another. Too many choices!! And the Golden Mickies was a riot.
Anyway, I will see if this one gets through.
