March 23, 2017... 3 night Wonder.. ful cruise!

I usually have groups between 6 and 11, but it is up to participants. If 18 cabins for instance, I divide into 2 groups trying to keep decks together except when multiple cabin families want to be in same group.

Make that 12....pirate:
Each family participating should be listed, because I need to know how many cabins are involved. I keep each group between 6-11 cabins. Sign ups end February 20.

You can begin starting a conversation with me, and have "March Exchange " in the title. Tell me your cabin number, number of adults, children, and ages if you like. Also, tell if there are any allergies. I have received a note from one person so far.

We are the Moran family. Cabin 6633. Mom, 10 yo girl, 5 yo boy. My son's first cruise!

So, Bobbi, is this a fish extender group or just a CC exchange?

I am glad to see more participants in the thread! If there is any interest in having breakfast in whatever MDR has sit down breakfast, say at 8 or 8:30 on the first day, sea day, just post. In the past we just meet in the atrium and enter and ask for a table for the group.

Everyone is welcome!

Have gotten cabin info from 2 via the conversations.

That sounds like a great idea!

So, Bobbi, is this a fish extender group or just a CC exchange?

Well, because we use the Fish extenders to deliver the gifts, I think it is a FE.

This one began as a Local Candy/Snack exchange, and participants mentioned they would be giving something for children, and it grew into what it is, Candy/Snack with small gifts for children. Not every cabin has children. Every cabin will deliver once for sure, and some cabins will deliver gifts more than once.

We have always included the history of our treats from the internet.

Tom and I will eat breakfast on the sea day in which ever Main Dining Room (MDR) has a sit down breakfast menu around 8 or 8:30. So far Orchid Lady has mentioned she liked the idea. I will list folks interested, just to keep the idea out here. Everyone is invited. Sometimes other participants in the thread just show up to say "Hi" to the group.

Any more interest, still time to join! We will decide whether it's one large group or two smaller ones around Feb 20 when sign ups close.
Remember to send me a conversation with you cabin number, number of adults/ children and if you have allergies we should know about.

Thanks! I figured as much, but being our first time doing FE, I still need filling in on details here and there....

I am happy to answer any question.
My first experience was in 2013 on an east bound transatlantic cruise. We joined a Candy exchange and ever since then I have joined or formed a Candy Exchange!

Did anyone buy travel insurance? Recommendations for companies?
As seniors we want the insurance to cover preconditions, so we buy as soon as we book. We bought this from Disney, sometimes we buy Travel Guard. DH, Tom usually buys the insurance. We had a death in the family, so we cancelled our January RCCL cruise. We have not yet received the compensation from Travel Guard. They say it can take 6-8 weeks.

OMG, we were on page 3!

I plan to snorkel from the beach at CC...who is planning to do the 5 K...anyone?

Unfortunately I have a bum knee so can't join in on the fun. Last time there though... we realized there were so many things to do on the island (laughed and had fun at the crab race) to be honest you almost need 2 days! We didn't get the chance to bike ride the island (I plan on doing it this time) but feeding and snorkeling with the rays was awesome!
