Our family just realize that after we desembark on march 30 2013. The next day the fantasy will be celebrating the first birthday after the maide voyage. Just hope that we can do a celebration with us on it, will be a bast,

I am hoping to be joining you on this cruise! I am waiting until my Dream Cruise this Easter break to book. Looking for the On Board offer. Hoping it will still be available in a few weeks!!!! The only staterooms available now are Cat 4. Hope I can get one! I'll let you know.

P.S. What is "Blue Light Spring Break"? I haven't read all other pages in this thread, so forgive me if that question was answered already.

I asked about the blue light special also and this is the answer I received.

The blue light special is covered in the first couple pages of the thread. On opening day this cruise was priced at half of most summer cruises, even though it is over spring break which is usually a high price. Many of us jumped on this and during the course of the day watched the price go up as the cruise sold. Someone said that it reminded them of one of Kmart's blue light specials since after we booked some posted to the running pricing thread for opening day, which resulted in others booking the cruise.

I just booked this cruise THIS MORNING! Funny thing, I am going on the Dream Cruise this Spring Break and I probably could have gotten a discount if I waited to book onboard. But cabins are ALMOST GONE on this sailing, so I didn't want to risk it! I used my DVC points and booked 2 Cat 5D staterooms this morning. WE ARE SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. What is "Blue Light Spring Break"? I haven't read all other pages in this thread, so forgive me if that question was answered already.

Blue light special this happen on the first day that DCL release the new itinerary, at least for me went I made the reservation it was only the day but no destination, it was the cheaper one on the month of march later the same day the price jump double the price. So a lot of reservation at the same time glitch the price for us a family of 6 we are paying adults 848 and kids 599 on a varandah state room it was a opportunity of the life time.

I booked in December on DVC points. We have a catagory 4b & 5b. We are taking DD 18 & DD's BF 19, DS 11 DH & me in one room and my parents in the other cabin. This will be during my daughter's first college spring break and I thought she would be better off with us than on "Spring Break".

I am amazed at how full the ship is already and it is over a year out! I have always been a planner and try to book our stuff way in advance. Happy we did or else this cruise would break the bank

We will be on the Wonder to Alaska in June and I am hoping to book another cruise sometime out there and get all the goodies that go with booking on ship.

I know we have other vacations booked between now and this cruise, but I have to say I am excited to be on the new ship, can't wait!

I am hoping to hook my kids up with some kids around their own ages before we get on ship so that they have buddies to hang with. again, Mine will be DD Morgan 16 and DS Gavin 13, let me know if anyone is interested.

You are going to love Alaska!!! DH asked me why I didn't book in 2013 when DCL will be back in Vancouver. I told him that I wasn't giving up THIS cruise. LOL! We will book in 2014 if they stay in Vancouver. We loved our time there and seeing the whales and everything else during the cruise was just breathtaking!!!

BTW does anyone know when the NYC school calendar for 2012/13 comes out ?
I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that I didn't book this cruise in the wrong week. I got such a deal that I'm willing to .......

The NYC school calendar came out. DD last day of school before easter break is Friday 22nd March 2013. They go back to school on Tuesday 2nd April.
All I have to do now is pray that I can get this week off work too.
