Just a bit of info for you guys.

I got a call today from DCL. Reason being is Danny and Steven were going to do the jet Ski's and they told me they no long have them. I should have asked if they are gone already. they said they were having to much trouble with them.

I was cracking up. This is only the 4th time that they have tried to jet ski on the island. i guess they won't have to worry about it any more.

What?!! No jetskis on Castaway Cay? Did they get washed away in hurricane?

"After September 30th 2011, the Watercraft Ski Adventure at Disney's Castaway Cay will no longer be offered as an excursion."

That parasailing adventure will be the highlight of my trip - I just can't wait! I've put myself on a mission - that is, when I get up in the air on that parachute finally, I am mentally and emotionally throwing all of my "bad thoughts" about what has been going on in my life lately out to sea - and never think about them again, and start out clean and fresh! That's my plan!!

Now that sounds like a great plan!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!! I am FINALLY caught up!!


So much for getting work done around the house tonight.

Thanks everyone for thinking about me. It's kind of nice when folks are asking about you and hoping all is well. It makes you feel .

to all the newcomers to the cruise!! Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Monika, I sent you a PM on FB regarding the FE. This will be a kid-free cruise for me so I signed my BFF up with me. I guess I better tell her about it.

Regarding plans before, during, and after the cruise. We have none yet. My BFF works on one of the exchanges in NYC and it can be a challenge to get time off so I am not sure what our plans will be at this time. We need to get together to discuss but both of us have been busy this summer. I hope to get the details worked out after the SSMC11. That said, I can not respond to transportation, the cook out, or any other activities at this time.

For those linking their dining....are early or late dining???

Parasailing....I can't wait!!! Kyle does not know we are signed up to Parasail nor do the kids know what AWESOME transportation we have arranged to the Port with Monika and Michael. Monika, we will definitely have to post a picture that morning on FB. I mentioned to him that we would look into Parasailing upon his completion of a book I want him to read. Oh well, looks like he will be going either way. And poor Lauren, she wants to parasail but has to wait until she is 8 (which is in December) She asked me the other day if we could go on a cruise when she turned 8. I asked her, Why 8? ( I knew the answer) Her response....so she could go parasailing. I told her they have parasailing at WDW so we could go the next time we are at WDW. She gave me a sad look. Of course I said we could look into another cruise once she turned 8. Boy is she going to be when she finds out I am going away in March. Kids don't know about that one.

Well, I am going to call it a night. Catching up took me a very long time.....it was about 30 pages. And I was not drinking coffee.

I hope they find a good replacement if that is what they are going to do. I also told the guys to just rent them at down town disney. They can go on the jet ski and I can sit and have a fufu frozen drink>

You're welcome, Chris. We can't wait for the cruise. We leave for Baltimore on the 15th...going to be grandparents again . Then the 17th we leave for WDW...staying at BLT before and after cruise. We cruise in 16 days. I can't wait. That would be great if you can do the members cruise again. I will tell you all about it. No, the suitcases aren't even out yet. Chances are they come out next week.

My name is Susan---I live in Maryland and I'll be sailing on this 5 night Disney cruise with a friend from work. My poor husband Tom was worn out from our 15 night DCL Panama Canal cruise this past January---and I couldn't talk him into Hawaii. Sigh. You wouldn't want him to sail on this cruise anyway---whenever he sails on DCL we miss Castaway Cay! He won't be cruising until next October on the Fantasy for our 17th wedding anniversary.

I haven't been on the Dream yet---I'll be sailing a 4 night and a 3 night back to back in December with different sets of friends---I am trying to covert them to the Disney Side;-)

I'd like to join the Fish Extender group---I am in cabin 9138.

I don't do Facebook:-(

What other fun activites are planned for this cruise? Is there a logo? Do you need help with anything? Just let me know---I believe in joining-in---it really makes Disney cruising extra-special!

Welcome Susan, glad to have you, I will be working on linked dinning as time gets closer, also for some of us that would like to arrive at port together I am planning on securing transportation from SSR to port, so far I think there are 7 of us!
